Reba McEntire Gives 'Voice' Contestants Hot Tater Tots When The Join Her Team!

Reba McEntire is the new judge on the block for the brand new season on The Voice, which kicks off tonight on NBC.

In a new interview on Today, host Carson Daly opened up about having the 68-year-old legendary country star on the show, and how she’s enticing people to join her team instead of Niall Horan, John Legend or Gwen Stefani‘s – with tater tots!

According to Carson, Reba is obsessed with tater tots, and is serving them up fresh to any contestant who joins her team.

“In this season, you’ll see when someone makes it on her team, they get Reba’s tots. Right then and there, right on the set,” he shared with the newscasters on the show.

Savannah Guthrie joked that her move is strategic: “That’s how she’s getting contestants to go to Reba’s team…the power of the tot.”

The Voice premieres TONIGHT, September 25 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
