Simu Liu Seemingly Reacts to That Viral, Awkward Ryan Gosling Video

Simu Liu is seemingly reacting to that viral Ryan Gosling video that has the Internet talking.

If you didn’t see, a video is circulating of Simu and Ryan on the red carpet promoting their film, Barbie. On the red carpet, Simu goes to put his hand around Ryan, but Ryan stops him.

Fans then quickly tried to decode what was happening. Was Ryan not happy that Simu tried to put his arm around him? Was Ryan just being funny? Now, Simu is responding.

Referencing the Barbie movie “beach” pun and Ryan‘s Canadian heritage, Simu wrote on Instagram Story, “I’d beach off with this Kenadian again in a heartbeat. He is the best human in every way, especially when he jokes around with us on the carpet and on set, infecting all of us with his kenergy.”

The Marvel star continued, “Now let’s get back to the issues that matter, like supporting our striking actors and writers fighting for fair wages!”
