She told The Independent that they did not originally get along.

“I think he thought that I was a people pleaser and that I was very earnest and took myself very seriously. And I thought he was arrogant, and cocky. I remember shaking his hand and looking up and thinking, ‘You’re really goodlooking,’ but he had no charm about him. He was just like, ‘I’m not going to make an effort,’ and normally I’m like ‘Hiiiiii!’” she said.
