The end of a relationship is never easy to navigate, and that’s especially the case in Hollywood. However, there is no denying that some celebrity divorces go more smoothly than others.

Over the years, there have been A-list lovers who have decided to consciously uncouple after years of marriage. They navigate splits with ease and go on with their lives relatively unscathed.

Other divorces come with a bit more drama. Some are plagued with rumors of infidelity that generate endless headlines. There can be legal battles that play out for years over spousal support, custody issues and so much more.

Danielle Maltby has opened up about her split with Michael Allio.

The couple, who met while on Bachelor in Paradise, broke up just a few months ago, and on her podcast, Danielle is spilling all the details and drama surrounding it.

Danielle first shared that the break up was a few months ago, and she’s now sharing more details about it, telling listeners that Michael had broken up with her just one day after an egg retrieval procedure.

The couple had traveled to New York for the procedure, and Danielle recalled that they “were just having so much fun. Everything was so sweet” and the procedure went smoothly.

“Michael was waiting there with a matcha latte for me,” she says, then noted that what happened after blindsided her.

Danielle says that she “just need to get it out there, so that people can stop asking questions and I can just move forward. But the day after Michael and I got home from freezing my eggs he broke up with me.”

“[I'm] still very emotional and hurt and confused,” she added. “I still don’t really have any answers. I’m grieving the loss of him. I’m grieving the loss of the future that I really believed in and I’m grieving the loss of James [Michael's son]. I’m grieving the loss of safety that I felt with him for the first time. He was the first person that ever made me feel safe in a relationship, that made me feel like I was enough, and then that was taken away.”

Danielle does still have fond memories of the trip, but she’s still reeling from it all.

“I was so proud of myself. Michael took great care of me. It was a very, very love-filled weekend,” she said. “… It was really difficult to come down off of this experience that I was so excited for and then to have to come down off of the hormones while being in complete shock, like, complete physical shock. I was just completely blindsided.”

Michael previously said that their break up was because of “lack of compatibility.”

“We’re not together anymore. It’s not what we planned. We both threw a lot into this relationship, and it’s really awful when it doesn’t work out,” he shared with the Trading Secrets podcast. “… When you realize that love is there, but you’re not necessarily compatible, you mourn the loss, not of just that person and that friend in your life, but also the future that you had envisioned.”

Darren Hayes is filing for divorce.

The 51-year-old “Truly Madly Deeply” Savage Garden musician and solo star has filed for divorce from his director and screenwriter husband Richard Cullen, 53, after 17 years of marriage, via People.

He previously announced their separation in May.

Darren filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Monday (September 18), citing irreconcilable differences in legal documents, via TMZ.

Earlier this year, he announced his split in a since-deleted Instagram post.

“After 17 years of marriage to the best person I have ever met, Richard and I have chosen to accept that our union has gently and beautifully come to rest,” he wrote at the time.

“In honour of this realization, we separated earlier this year and have been supporting each other emotionally throughout this massive change in our lives…because people will ask, let me answer the ugly questions to get them out of the way forever – no, there’s no scandal to report, no infidelity, guilty or third party.”

“We are still best friends. We always will be. Besides – we have a very cute and needy labradoodle to take care of – and the business of joy to attend to,” he added.

The 32-year-old singer and actress confirmed the news on social media on Sunday (September 17) that she and the 33-year-old former NBA basketball player are no longer together.

Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie on Thursday, Sept. 14, according to court documents obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

In the court documents, Jeezy says that he has been separated from Jeannie and that they have a prenuptial agreement. He is also seeking joint legal custody of their daughter Monaco, who was born in January 2022.

Jeezy and Jeannie married in a very intimate ceremony at their home in Atlanta on March 27, 2021 after three years of dating.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that the 34-year-old Jonas Brothers star had his people consult with at least two L.A.-area divorce lawyers, and he’s preparing to file documents to end his marriage to the 27-year-old Game of Thrones actress.

The sources went on to say that the couple has had “serious problems” for at least six months.

TMZ reports the split came after a fight involving allegations of cheating.

About a week ago, Sam allegedly confronted Britney over rumors she cheated, and while there is no confirmation regarding the report, Sam believed it and they fought. TMZ‘s sources say Sam moved out of their house and is now living in a place of his own.

“It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce,” a source told the outlet.

There’s been “deep trouble” with the couple’s marriage for months according to the report, and Sam wasn’t sleeping at the house much. Britney has allegedly gotten physical with him in fights that include frequent screaming matches.
