The Sun and The Daily Mail posted stories over the weekend suggesting that the 41-year-old singer’s family is worried that she is doing meth, and that she could die.

The articles claim her family fears she “will die like Amy Winehouse,” and suggests Kevin said her loved ones are “terrified” she is on the drug.

“All we want is for her to listen to us. I hope she will – before it’s too late,” her son Sean Preston allegedly told the outlet.

Britney Spears has given ex-husband Kevin Federline permission to move out of California with their sons.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Kevin, 45, and wife Victoria Prince were planning a move to Hawaii after they both received job offers.

On Wednesday (May 31), Kevin‘s attorney confirmed that the 41-year-old “Gimme More” singer “consented” to her sons Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, moving to Hawaii with Kevin.

A source also confirmed to the news outlet that Kevin reached out to Britney earlier this month for permission to move with their sons.

Preston and Jayden – who live with Kevin – will move with their father, his wife Victoria, and their two kids Peyton, 8, and Jordan, 11, over the summer after Preston graduates high school. Jayden has been granted permission to finish his final year of high school remotely.

The move could happen as soon as July after Sean graduates.

Kevin‘s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan has allegedly made contact with Britney‘s team to propose the move. If she objects, the report suggests that they are prepared to go to court to get permission.

However, the outlet noted that “such a drastic measure is unlikely to happen and that the case will never make it to court because Spears will likely accept the move.”

It all seemed to stem from Britney’s post she wrote about her kids, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, on Wednesday (August 10).

“I looked forward to seeing my kids every week … It was 2 days a week but I asked him to ask to stay for more days … maybe 3 days … but then the next week they stayed for only one day . Yeah, I know that teenagers are just hard to deal with at that age … but COME ON, there’s being rude then there’s being HATEFUL … they would visit me, walk in the door, go straight to their room and lock the door !!! The MONITOR would tell me that he just likes to be in his room … I’m like why come visit me if they don’t even visit me !!!” Britney wrote, in part.

One of the videos shows Britney and her kids in a heated moment with Britney saying, “This is my house, if I wanna come in here and give you lotion for your face cuz it is coarse, and all you tell me is “it’s fine, it’s fine” NO it’s not fine.” She continues, “You better all start respecting me, are we clear? And when Robin calls … even Robin is a f*****g kid.”

Another video had Britney seemingly upset that her son wasn’t wearing shoes while out.

“Have you lost your f–king mind? Have you lost your f–king mind? I’m shocked as f–k with you and I don’t know what to do,” she allegedly said. “And I’m scared of you because you’re weird because you’re going through puberty. And I don’t know what to say. But I do care more than you know.”

After Kevin spoke out about his kids’ relationship with their mom Britney, Sam slammed him for speaking publicly about the situation.

“Kevin understands Sam is Britney‘s new husband. Sam is not going to take a position against Britney,” attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said in the video. “Sam really doesn’t know Kevin. He doesn’t know what is going on in Kevin‘s household.”

Mark said that Sam‘s claim that Kevin doesn’t work “is just an attack that Kevin is not going to dignify with a response.”

“Even if there was truth to her kids being ashamed of their mother’s choices and positive body image, they wouldn’t be the 1st teenagers embarrassed of their parents. Most kids are embarrassed of their parents at one point. The mere presence of a parent can humiliate a teenager. It’s so common it has been a storyline used over and over on TV and in films for decades. Eventually if not already they will realize their mothers choices are harmless and an expression of newly found freedom. There is nothing to be embarrassed about just lots of things to be proud of,” Sam said in the deleted message.

The 44-year-old former husband of Britney Spears was the subject of a now-deleted post on the 40-year-old “Make Me” singer’s Instagram, in which she claimed he wouldn’t see her when she was pregnant.

“geez my ex-husband wouldn’t see me when I flew to New York with a baby inside me and Las Vegas when he was shooting a video!!!” she wrote.

Attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan was asked about the post by TMZ.

The lawyer said it “is completely the opposite of what’s true, she knows that,” adding: “She should be very careful about pursuing a dialogue that’s based on revisionist history.”

“That story about Kevin in Las Vegas and Britney is completely erroneous, and he’s not going to stand by and let that story besmirch what he did and his support of her back in the day,” he continued.

“When she starts talking about the way things were when Jayden and Preston were infants that’s completely fabricated… Kevin is not going to let that stand by and let that be the portrayal of fact.”

“Kevin is aware of the recent posting by Britney regarding her announced pregnancy and wishes her a happy and healthy pregnancy, and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they go through the excitement of planning parenthood together,” he said.

Britney and Kevin wed back in September 2004 after five months of dating before their divorce in September of 2006.

The 39-year-old singer took to her Instagram page on Thursday afternoon (November 4) to share some photos that she snapped with her boys while visiting the Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit the night before.

“Me and my boys last night 💋💋💋,” Britney captioned the slideshow of photos.

Sean Preston and Jayden James are all grown up now at 16 and 15, respectively.

After about 45 minutes, the post was removed from Britney‘s page. She has previously said how her sons have asked her to remove photos of them from her social media accounts, so this might be the case again.

The friend who joined Britney at the exhibit is talent agent Cade Hudson, who recently spoke out publicly against the conservatorship.

Britney Spears‘ ex husband Kevin Federline has released a statement, via his lawyer, about Britney‘s testimony in her conservatorship case requesting to be freed from it.

His divorce attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan has now released a statement on his behalf.

They were married from 2004-2007 and share Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James, 14.

“The best thing would be for their mom to be healthy and happy. And if either of those things aren’t true, it doesn’t provide for the best setting for custody to be exercised,” Kaplan said to People. “[Kevin] certainly respects Britney and only hopes the best for her because when the best for her is achieved, it’s the best for their kids. The kids love their mother and he wants there to be a healthy and strong relationship.”

He added that “Britney has not been served well by the conservatorship and it’s not consistent with what she wants. I think that she should be able to challenge that. And if it’s what’s best for her, Kevin supports it. If she’s strong and healthy and wants to be in control of her own life, and can do that in a reasonable, responsible fashion, then more power to her.”

Kaplan said they want to see “whether she’s okay,” referring to her mental health.

“If it was necessary, we have to be concerned about whether she’s okay,” he said. “And if it’s no longer necessary, that’s great too. Just want to make sure that all of the considerations, how she’s doing are taken into account if she seeks to change the custody order in the post-conservatorship era, if that ever comes.”

Kevin previously spoke out after Framing Britney Spears was released.

Kevin Federline, Britney Spears‘ ex, has released a statement, through his lawyer.

The statement come amid the buzz surrounding the new documentary Framing Britney Spears.

The new film, which is streaming now on Hulu, examines Britney‘s career and offers “a new assessment of the movement rallying against her court-mandated conservatorship.”

“Kevin has no involvement with regard to Britney and her attorneys asking to remove [Britney's dad] Jamie as conservator. He has stayed out of the conservatorship issues,” Kevin’s attorney told E! News.

Kevin‘s lawyer then mentioned Jodi, Britney‘s personal conservator. “He thinks Jodi Montgomery has done an admirable job and he has no other position to state with regard to the conservatorship.”

Their two kids “are doing great and Kevin is enjoying watching them grow up and evolve.” He also has “no idea whether the kids are aware of the documentary.”

“Kevin enjoys the full extent of the custody that he has. Both parties are working well in exchanging custody,” the lawyer added.

In 2019, a new custody agreement was set for Britney and Kevin where she had the boys 30% of the time and Kevin, the remaining 70%.
