The two stars will lead the Geffen Playhouse’s production, which begins performances on April 19 ahead of opening night on April 28.

Here is the synopsis of the Edward Albee play: George (Quinto) and Martha (Flockhart), the American theater’s most notoriously dysfunctional couple, have invited the young and naive Nick and Honey over for drinks. Little Mermaid Live's Prince Eric (Graham Phillips) Explains How He's Bringing New Life to the Character

Graham recently opened up about the experience, as well as how he plans to play Prince Eric, in an interview with Playbill.

“Even though Little Mermaid is in front of a camera, it’s live, so there’s no room for pussyfooting around. You really have to commit,” he explained.

“In the film [Prince Eric]’s such a blank slate; he doesn’t even sing. Getting to learn these new songs and understand his perspective a little more was very cool,” he said.

He also said that the role has inspired him to return to theater.

“For quite a while I’ve felt like something was missing, and I’ve realized that it’s singing, so my sights are definitely set on getting back on Broadway. I’ve been missing it for a long time.”
