Diddy Performs Medley of His Hit Songs Before Accepting Global Icon Award at MTV VMAs 2023 - Watch Now!

Diddy is being honored at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards!

The 52-year-old entertainer was presented with the Global Icon Award at the awards ceremony held on Tuesday night (September 12) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Diddy‘s longtime friend Mary J. Blige was on hand to present him with the award along with his daughters Chance, 17, and 16-year-old twins Jessie and D’Lila along with his song King, 25.

In his acceptance speech, Diddy said, “This is a dream come true. I grew up watching MTV like ‘Man I wish I could be up there.’”

During his performance, Diddy performed a medley of his hit songs including “I’ll Be Miss You,” “It’s All About the Benjamins,” “Bad Boy for Life,” “I Need a Girl (Part Two),” “Gotta Move On,” “Last Night,” and “Mo Money, Mo Problems.”

Diddy was joined by son King, Yung Miami, and Keyshia Cole during his performance.

Diddy also promoted his new album, The Love Album: Off the Grid, which he will be releasing Friday, September 15.

The 53-year-old superstar is the recipient of the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards’ Global Icon Award, the network confirmed.

He will also return to the VMAs stage for a live performance – his first since 2005.

Justin Combs, the eldest son of Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested near Beverly Hills for driving under the influence on Sunday (June 4).

The 29-year-old was stopped by police at around 8 am after running a red light, according to TMZ.

Justin‘s bond was set at $5,000. He is the oldest son of Diddy and Misa Hylton, a stylist and fashion designer.

Sean “Diddy” Combs and Yung Miami attended the 2023 Met Gala together and answered a question if they are still together or not.

Host La La Anthony asked them, “Do y’all officially go together real bad?”

The 29-year-old City Girls rapper, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, didn’t answer initially. But Diddy replied, “We definitely go together real bad!” he said before clarifying, “She’s my date for the night. … We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles. This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs made headlines when he revealed the staggering amount that he allegedly paid Sting every day to clear a sample.
