Men don’t always have the opportunity to show off unique style on the red carpet, but plenty of male stars wore daring outfits at the 2023 Met Gala!

We’re recapping the 12 best dressed men who stepped out for fashion’s biggest night on Monday evening (May 1) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The theme of the Met Gala this year is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” and the event will honor the late fashion designer. The dress code for the gala is “in honor of Karl,” who has worked at such fashion houses as Balmain, Chloé, Fendi, and Chanel.

It’s Met Gala Monday (May 1), and while we’re so excited to see all the red carpet arrivals…fans might be a little disappointed.

We have confirmation of several celebs who are definitely not attending, one celeb who fans think might be skipping, and one celeb who we’re guessing is not involved based on their views of the theme. Plus, there are several other’s we’re assuming might skip as well!

The event honors The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. The exhibition will be on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Fifth Avenue from May 5 to July 16, 2023.

A study was conducted to figure out the 15 most popular Met Gala looks of all time!

The study took fan engagement on celebrity Instagram posts and calculated how many likes and comments were made on specific Met Gala pics. A top 15 list was then compiled based on that data. The number one celebrity on this list posted a photo from their Met Gala moment that has a fan engagement of nearly 20 million! Note: 2022 Met Gala data was not included in this ranking, unfortunately!
