The stars are stepping out during New York Fashion Week!

Gigi Hadid, Priyanka Chopra, and Emily Ratajkowski all posed for photos on the pink carpet while arriving at the Victoria’s Secret Celebrates The Tour ’23 event held on Wednesday night (September 6) at The Manhattan Center in New York City.

Last month, Victoria’s Secret debuted their new campaign for their The Icons collection starring Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Hailey Bieber, and tons of other models.

Netflix is giving fans a first look at the second half of The Lincoln Lawyer season 2!

The streamer released a new trailer for the show on Thursday (July 13), which finds protagonist Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) back on the case after being attacked.

Here’s a refresher on what happened in the first half of season 2: Mickey lost against prosecutor Andrea Freemann (Yaya DaCosta) while defending Lisa Trammell (Lana Parilla). His relationship with his client and love interest Lorna (Becki Newton) also took a hit, and he was beaten by two men and left to die in a parking lot.

Season 2 part 2 picks up with Mickey recovering in the hospital and preparing to face off against Andy again in court. The Lincoln Lawyer is set to return with new episodes on August 3 and you can watch the full trailer down below.

Yaya DaCosta is looking back at her time on Chicago Med.

The 40-year-old actress exited the NBC series two years ago but recently reappeared in the latest season for Brian Tee‘s departure from the show, which included a wedding between April and Ethan.

Yaya spoke with TV Insider about the exciting moment, as well as what she thinks will happen with her character April in the future.

“It was so much fun. It was such a lovely experience going back to kind of close out the storyline and send Brian Tee’s character, Ethan Choi, off [and] send him and April Sexton off into the sunset,” Yaya shared. “Just the whole experience was really beautiful. It was great to see a lot of the cast and crew that were still there.”

She also discussed what it was like finding the perfect dress for April’s nuptials. “It’s always fun having fittings, but wedding dress fittings are even more fun,” she explained. “I really thought that the dress that we picked for April was super appropriate for her, equal parts princess-y and ethereal, but also super appropriate for the Catholic church. The people in the audience, all the background actors, everyone was just so authentically in the moment and giving us all the excitement as though it was a real wedding, and that was really, really beautiful to be a part of.”

Yaya went on to say that while her final episode “did feel very much like closure”, she hasn’t ruled out returning to Chicago Med in the future. “I haven’t heard anything different than that, but who knows, right? The future’s unknown,” added.

As for what she hoped for April’s character, Yaya said she thought it would be great to go back to a plotline from season 1.

“I always thought April was going to finish her schooling and become a doctor,” she said. “They introduced her little brother, Noah [Roland Buck III], who she actually helped put through school, and he became a doctor. So yeah, I think the idea was always that we would kind of tap into some woman’s empowerment and now that he was all set, go back to her fulfilling her dream, and I guess just as time went on, everyone was comfortable seeing her as a nurse.”

“The way that she was in the hospital, the way that she interacted with the patients, the wisdom that she brought to the cases, the way that the doctors could trust her to just finish their sentences and start doing what was needed before they’re even asked, I think that kind of gave her a lot of credibility and expectation that she would be a doctor. So if ever in this or any other dimension, April Sexton were to return to screen, it would have to be as a doctor,” she added.

The first trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer season two is here!

The upcoming season, which will be broken into two parts, will focus back in on Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic idealist, who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, and takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles.

The series is based on the series of bestselling novels by renowned author Michael Connelly, and the second season will pull the fourth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, “The Fifth Witness”, to the small screen.

Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Krista Warner, Ntare Guma, Mbaho Mwine, Lana Parilla, Yaya DaCosta, Matt Angel, and Angelica Maria also star in season two.

The Lincoln Lawyer season 2, part 1 premieres on July 6. Part 2 will debut on August 3.

Here’s the summary for “This Could be the Start of Something New”: Will relies on Crockett and Med’s newly donated OR 2.0 to save his patient, while Charles helps an elderly confused patient who’s mourning the loss of his high school sweetheart.

As their wedding day approaches, Ethan and April run into some roadblocks.

So what are those roadblocks? According to executive producer Andrew Schneider, it’s all about April’s dad, who “throws a wrench into the works by having a health issue the day before the wedding.”

However, he adds of the church wedding day, “The character of April’s been established as Catholic so it was important to be married at a church wedding. Her family are observant. So we wanted it to be a traditional wedding in a Catholic church with a priest.”

Brian Tee announced his exit from Chicago Med just a month after the 8th season debuted.

“Playing Dr. Ethan Choi on Chicago Med has been such a gift and a blessing,” the actor shared of his exit from the series at the time. “I am forever grateful to our fans and my colleagues both in front of and behind the camera as I embark on a new journey.”

During this week’s episode, which aired November 16, the staff was quite surprised after receiving surprise invitations to Ethan and April’s wedding!

Yaya DaCosta returned as April Sexton at the top of season, and was seen in a handful of episodes since then as a recurring guest star.

“I guess I got closer to the guy she was holding out for,” Ethan told his colleagues.

Ethan and April officially rekindled their romance after sharing a heated dance at a night club, after first running back into each other at his father’s grave site.

“Could Be the Start of Something New”, which airs on December 7, will mark Brian‘s final episode.

Yaya has landed the lead role in a new Fox drama Our Kind of People, Variety reports, and as such, will have to leave the NBC drama.

Here’s a synopsis of the show: The series follows strong-willed, single mom Angela Vaughn (DaCosta) as she sets out to reclaim her family’s name and make an impact with her revolutionary haircare line that highlights the innate, natural beauty of Black women. But she soon discovers a dark secret about her mother’s past that will turn her world upside-down and shake up this community forever.

Chicago Med is going to premiere on November 17 and there’s going to be a four-way crossover event with all three Chicago shows and Law & Order: SVU in February.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw looks gorgeous in green while walking the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie Belle at the Paris Theater on Monday evening (April 28) in New York City.

The 30-year-old English actress was joined by her co-stars Sam Reid and Miranda Richardson, as well as Anika Noni Rose and Yaya DaCosta, who showed up to show their support.

Belle is about the true story of the illegitimate mixed race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral who is raised by her uncle and his wife. Her status prevents her from the traditions of noble social standing, but when she meets a young vicar’s son bent on changing society, the pair help shape the end of slavery in England.

FYI: Gugu is wearing a Lanvin gown.
