Sofia Coppola was joined by so many of her celebrity friends to celebrate the launch of her first book, “Sofia Coppola Archive: 1999-2023.”

The acclaimed director was joined by friends and former colleagues like Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst at an intimate dinner hosted by Chanel on Tuesday (September 19) at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

Some more celebs who were in attendance included Kirsten‘s husband Jesse Plemons, Priscilla Presley, sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning, Rashida Jones, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Anjelica Huston, Paris Hilton, Awkwafina, Alexandra Shipp, and cute couple Olivia Munn and John Mulaney.

The evening ended with a surprise performance from Maya‘s Prince cover band, Princess.

The trailer for Sandra Oh and Awkwafina‘s new movie has been released!

The two Golden Globe-winning actresses play very dysfunctional sisters that sign up for a game show to get rich quick in Hulu’s new comedy Quiz Lady.

In the Jessica Yu-directed movie, “a brilliant but tightly wound, gameshow-obsessed young woman, Anne (Awkwafina), and her estranged, train-wreck of a sister Jenny (Oh), must work together to help cover their mother’s gambling debts. When Anne’s beloved dog is kidnapped, they set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona-fide gameshow champion.”

Lori Harvey is making an entrance in New York City.

The 26-year-old model had a part of her dress carried to protect it from the rain as she arrived for the Prabal Gurung fashion show during 2023 New York Fashion Week on Friday (September 8).

Many of the stars in attendance made use of clear umbrellas to keep dry as the show went on.

Lori was joined by tennis great Venus Williams, plus actors Kiersey Clemons, Maddie Ziegler, Awkwafina, Kiki Layne, and Peyton Elizabeth Lee, as well as models, Sara Sampaio, Jasmine Tookes, Jordan Roth, and Halima Aden.

FYI: Lori is wearing Longchamp sunglasses. Awkwafina is wearing Aldo boots.

Dior threw a huge party to kick off New York Fashion Week 2023!

Charlize Theron turned heads in her chic navy ensemble next to White Lotus stars Alexandra Daddario, Meghann Fahy, and Leo Woodall, held at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens on Thursday (September 7) in New York City.

The School of Good and Evil‘s Sophia Anne Caruso reunited with Sofia Wylie, To All The Boys stars Lana Condor and Madeleine Arthur, Julianne Hough, Lucy Hale, Rachel Brosnahan, Thomas Doherty, and Jamie Chung were also spotted inside.

The Little Mermaid‘s Awkwafina was also seen at the bash, with Kristine Froseth, Anna Diop, Kiki Layne, Stephanie Hsu, Natalia Dyer, Christian Serratos, Leni Klum, Maddie Ziegler, Barbie‘s Ariana Greenblatt, Christopher Briney, Bailey Bass, West Duchovny, Maye Musk, and Monica Barbaro.

Awkwafina is stepping out to support the cast of Joy Ride!

The 35-year-old Golden Globe winning-actress joined Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu, and Sabrina Wu at a special screening of their new movie on Wednesday (June 28) held at The Metrograph in New York City.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Lori Tan Chinn and Ronny Chieng along with screenplay writers Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and Teresa Hsiao.

Awkwafina and Lori‘s Nora From Queens co-star BD Wong also attended the screening.

One of the new songs added to The Little Mermaid for the new live-action film is “The Scuttlebutt,” which is performed by Awkwafina and Daveed Diggs.

Awkwafina voices the role of Scuttle, who is no longer a seagull for this movie, and Daveed voices the role of the beloved character Sebastian.

The song takes place near the end of the movie when Scuttle brings news to Sebastian that Ursula has transformed from the sea witch into a beautiful young woman named Vanessa in an effort to steal Prince Eric’s heart.

“The gossip! The buzz! The who-said-what-who-does-that, yeah, the Scuttlebutt!” Scuttle raps in the song.

Earlier this week, fans started to notice once again that Scuttle wasn’t a seagull in the upcoming live action version of The Little Mermaid.

While it’s been touched on in previous interviews, there hasn’t been a full explaination for the change until now.

Director Rob Marshall opened up in a new interview with IndieWire about turning Scuttle into a Northern Gannet, which is able to dive underwater and stay there for some time.
