Matt Bomer looks handsome in a black sweater while walking the carpet at the 2020 Gold Meets Golden event on Saturday afternoon (January 4) at the Virginia Robinson Gardens & Estate in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actor took to his Instagram that afternoon to rave about Golden Globe nominee Cynthia Erivo‘s performance of “Imagine” at the event.

“This song, sung by @cynthiaerivo, who I think is one of the most talented artists on the planet right now, was a highlight for me. It’s good to keep in mind John Lennon’s lyrics in a 2020 that already has a lot going on,” Matt wrote on Instagram.

The 23-year-old “New Rules” hit-maker was joined at the event by Nicky Hilton Rotschild, Olivia Culpo, Jasmine Sanders, Caroline Daur, Negin Mirsalehi, Draya Michele and Xenia Adonts as they all stepped out to show their support.

“I think it was just a personal preference. I love the mixture of the scents. The 30-year-old supermodel was joined at the event by Alessandra Ambrosio and her boyfriend Nicolo Oddi, as well as fellow models Elsa Hosk, Doutzen Kroes, Izabel Goulart, Jasmine Sanders and Toni Garrn.

Doutzen was honored at the event with the Social Media Changer award.
