Daredevil: Born Again, the Disney+ revival of Netflix’s Daredevil series, has officially confirmed several returning stars, but there are some key players not returning.

In addition, two stars from the Netflix version of the series are not returning for the Disney+ show and one star has officially been recast from the Netflix version of the series. The series is expected sometime in 2024.

If you don’t know, Netflix originally aired a Daredevil series for three seasons beginning in 2015. Other Marvel/Netflix shows that aired were The Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and The Defenders.

Walker Scobell embarks upon an epic quest in the newly released teaser trailer for the Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The 14-year-old actor is set to bring Percy Jackson to life in the eight-episode show, which premieres on the streamer later this year. Based on the novels by Rick Riordan, Walker is playing a young demigod who is sent off to find Zeus’ master lightning bolt.

He does so with the assistance of Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries).

The teaser trailer introduces the characters and sets up the plot.

Steven DeKnight is speaking out.

The showrunner, known for the Netflix version of Daredevil and Jupiter’s Legacy, is calling out Disney+’s upcoming reboot of the superhero drama.

Last year, Disney+ confirmed they would be moving forward with their own Daredevil series, called Daredevil: Born Again, which will see Charlie Cox reprise his role as the blind superhero.

It will also involve a different creative team than the one behind the Netflix original.

Marvel is shifting things around concerning its upcoming release schedule on Disney+

Amid the strikes, the studio has opted to move around certain shows to a later release date, as no one knows just when the strikes will end.

Marvel has released the new schedule out, via THR, revealing just when Loki, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and more will debut on the streaming network.

The numbers are in!

Disney+ just dropped the first two episodes of the Dave Filoni-created, Rosario Dawson-starring Star Wars series, Ahsoka, and the viewership numbers have been revealed, via Deadline.

The series is set just after the fall of the Empire and follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

There have been a number of Star Wars series released in the past few years, and we’re taking a look at how each one did upon their premiere.

Disney+ has not canceled a lot of their content since the streamer launched a few years back.

Since launching in 2019, they have only really canceled a handful of shows.

We’ve compiled a list of all the major television shows they’ve canceled (we’re not including any smaller shows that were not given much press.) We’re also not including any TV shows that are simply coming to an end – only true canceled content.

Most of the cancellations have happened this year.
