Kathy Hilton Reveals How She Used To Track Paris Hilton's Whereabouts When She Was Younger

Kathy Hilton has opened up about how much of a worried mother she was when her eldest child, Paris, was growing up.

While speaking during a podcast interview, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed that due to Paris‘ outgoing and party nature, she resorted to calling an outlet to see exactly where her daughter was.

“I used to call the city desk at the New York Post,” Kathy admitted while on SiriusXM’s “Lunch with Bruce” podcast. “I would call the city desk and say at 1 in the morning, ‘Excuse me, hi, it’s Kathy Hilton. Uh, do you by any chance know Paris, where she is right now?’”

She added that “they’d be able to track exactly. ‘She was seen at 11:47 [p.m.] or 12:43 [a.m.] at O Bar or this [spot].’”

“This is the way I lived for years,” Kathy continued, explaining why she worried so much about Paris. “My husband [Rick Hilton] had to get up and work in the morning. So eventually he’d go to sleep. But I was up waiting all night.”

Kathy said that Paris sometimes wouldn’t come home for days at a time.

“She was sneaking out and she’d go missing and I wouldn’t be able to find her,” she remembered. “Let’s put it this way — it got very out of control and I was scared for her. And my husband was very scared for her. And, you know, those nightclubs go on all night.”

She also remembers losing a lot of sleep over it.

“How about for two days not knowing where your daughter is, and once hearing blood-curdling screaming, and then the phone hangs up,” she said. “There’s a lot of stuff people don’t know. And I did get some flack. Well, trust me. I did what I had to do.”

Kathy seemingly hinted at how Paris was taken in the middle of a night to a “boarding school” in Utah. Paris has accused the school of torture and sued them.

Paris and Kathy now have a good relationship with each other. They were recently seen at a Toy Drive event with Nicky Hilton.
