Netflix released the trailer and poster for their new film, Chupa, this week, and some fans are shook.

First, we’ll give you a synopsis of the film: shy 13-year-old Alex (Evan Whitten) flies from Kansas City to Mexico to meet his extended family for the first time. There he meets his grandfather and former lucha libre champion Chava (Demián Bichir), energetic, wrestling-obsessed cousin Memo (Nickolas Verdugo), and fearless, hip cousin Luna (Ashley Ciarra). But just as Alex begins to get his bearings, he discovers a mythical creature living under his grandfather’s shed: a young chupacabra cub, which he recognizes from stories of the feared, full-grown chupacabra, fabled to feed on farmers’ livestock. Alex soon learns that his new friend “Chupa” has a secret history with his family, and that dogged, dangerous scientist Richard Quinn (Christian Slater) is hunting the misunderstood creature to try and harness his powers. To protect Chupa from impending danger, Alex sets off on the adventure of a lifetime, one that will push the bonds of his newfound family to the brink, and remind him that life’s burdens are lighter when you don’t have to carry them alone.

The full cast of Disney+’s Willow stunned at the premiere of the new show!

Joshua Jackson snaps a pic with Christian Slater as they step out for the Dr. Death FYC event held at NBCU FYC House on Sunday night (May 22) in Los Angeles.

The two stars of the limited series were joined by series creator Patrick McManus and director Maggie Kiley to discuss the show and its’ impact.

Speaking recently with Deadline, Josh opened up about playing the title doctor, Dr. Christopher Duntsch, whose special surgery for his patients ended with them permanently damaged or in some cases, dead.

Josh revealed that the story really illustrates big issues within the American health care system.

“You need to get to know your doctor,” he said. “You need to ask for second opinions. The system is not aligned with your outcome. The system is aligned with its own profit motive. It’s amazing to be a part of telling that story.”

Dr. Death is streaming on Peacock.

So many stars were in attendance at producer Jennifer Klein’s Holiday Party over the weekend!

Laura Harrier, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and his wife Sam were just some of the celebs who stepped out on Saturday night (December 4) at a private residence in Brentwood, Calif.

More stars in attendance, who are pictured in this gallery, include Christian Slater, RZA, Julia Jones, Matthias Schweighofer, and Mario Van Peebles.

Guests at the party enjoyed Olipop’s healthy alternative to soda and Evian+ mineral water. There were also SLIQ rum infused popsicles being passed around on the dance floor.

Some of the yummy treats available included individual-sized Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream street treats, Clio’s pumpkin spice Greek yogurt bars, Lily’s Sweets no sugar added chocolate bars, a variety of Crumbl Cookies flavors, and Lesser Evil’s white chocolate and matcha popcorn and individual bags of their Himalayan salt popcorn.

Patrick Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver‘s new brand Mosh Bars provided their protein bars, which many guests took home.

Some of the guests, like RZA and MJ Rodriguez, arrived at the event in chauffeured Cadillac Escalades.

Joshua Jackson, Grace Gummer, and Christian Slater are stepping out for the premiere of their new show!

The three stars posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of their crime drama series Dr. Death on Thursday night (July 8) at NeueHouse in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members at the premiere included AnnaSophia Robb and Hubert Point-Du Jour along with executive producer Patrick Macmanus.

Based on the hit podcast, Dr. Death tells the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Jackson), a rising star in the Dallas medical community, whose patients emerged from routine surgeries that left them permanently maimed or dead.

Dr. Death is set to premiere on Peacock on Thursday, July 15. Check out the trailer right here!
