So many celebrities hit the runway for the 2023 ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards on Thursday evening (March 9) in Los Angeles.

The event was hosted at the Fairmont Century Plaza, and celebs including Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Skai Jackson and Storm Reid were in attendance.

Viola Davis & Angela Bassett Get Support from Their Husbands at AAFCA Awards 2023

The stars are hitting the red carpet!

Viola Davis and husband Julius Tennon joined Angela Bassett and husband Courtney B. Vance at the 2023 AAFCA Awards on Wednesday evening (March 1) at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Other stars in attendance included Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler, Omarion, Till stars Danielle Deadwyler and Jalyn Hall, Top Gun: Maverick actor Jay Ellis, and Harlem actress Meagan Good.

During the awards show, Danielle won the award for Best Actress, Angela won Best Supporting Actress, Jalyn won the award for Emerging Face!

Did you know that Viola and Julius will be starring in a new movie together?

FYI: Danielle is wearing a Versace dress. Meagan is wearing a Staud dress. Angela is wearing Styland with Jimmy Choo shoes and Gismondi jewelry.

Michael B. Jordan Gets A Star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame Just Days Before 'Creed III' Premiere

Michael B. Jordan is looking fine in bold blue suit for his Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony!

The 36-year-old star and director was honored at a ceremony on Wednesday afternoon (March 1) in Los Angeles, with his star reveal, which comes just a few days before his new movie, Creed III, hits theaters.

Jonathan Majors and Ryan Coogler were on hand to celebrate with Michael.

“My emotions are actually all over the place, I’m seeing so many people that I want to kind of get to and hug and connect with and show my appreciation,” Michael shared with ET at the event. “I want to give the love right back, you know? But then I’m also just taking a moment to just to be like, ‘Damn. OK, wow, that happened. I’m here!’”

He added, “I didn’t think it would hit me this much, but as it all started to come together and we start to see it and reality starts to set in, the importance [and] the weight of the moment… you really realize it.”

Michael‘s star is located at 6201 Hollywood Blvd., in front of the Funko Hollywood toy store.

'Black Panther' Director Ryan Coogler Reveals Original Sequel Story for Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa

Ryan Coogler, the director of the movie Black Panther, is sharing his original story idea for the sequel that was going to star Chadwick Boseman.

Chadwick passed away in August 2020 and the original script was rewritten to address his character T’Challa’s death.

In a new interview with The New York Times, Ryan spoke in-depth to reveal the original storyline.

Here's Why Daniel Kaluuya's Character W'Kabi Isn't in 'Black Panther 2,' According to Director Ryan Coogler

There’s a familiar face from the original Black Panther movie that you’re not going to see in the new sequel, Wakanda Forever.

Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya, who played W’Kabi in the first film, did not return for the second one and director Ryan Coogler is explaining why.

The events of the first film seemingly explain why he’s not in the sequel, but we’re pretty sure the writers could have figured out a way to include him if they wanted.

Lupita Nyong'o Shows Off Two Looks For 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Mexico City Premiere

Lupita Nyong’o pulled off a quick outfit change during the Mexico City premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The actress attended the event at Plaza Satelite on Wednesday (November 9) in Mexico City, Mexico. She walked the red carpet in a red dress with large sleeves, which she later removed to reveal a fitted black leather dress underneath.

She was joined by her fellow castmates Mabel Cadena, Letitia Wright and Tenoch Huerta as well as director Ryan Coogler. You can check out photos of the group in the gallery!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premieres in theaters on November 11 and is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 original. Make sure to watch the trailer here. You might also be interested in seeing what early reviews are saying.

'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Cast Visited Chadwick Boseman's Grave Before Filming

The cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stepped out for the African premiere in Nigeria!

Director Ryan Coogler joined Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke and Tenoch Huerta Mejía at the red carpet event held at Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX Lekki in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday night (November 6).

Ahead of the event, the cast opened up about something they did ahead of starting to film the sequel film – they visited Chadwick Boseman‘s grave together.
