Viola Davis gets support from former co-stars Meryl Streep and Jessica Chastain while being recognized at the 2023 Chaplin Award Gala honoring Viola Davis at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on Monday (April 24) in New York City.

The 57-year-old Women King actress received the prestigious award as a tribute to her many successes in the industry. She stunned in a strapless black dress with gold fringe and received support from husband Julius Tennon.

Meryl opted for a black pantsuit, and Jessica dazzled in a sequined dress with a bold pattern and plunging neckline.

Viola Davis brightens up the room in a stunning yellow dress at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night (February 26) at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The 57-year-old actress met up with director Gina Prince-Bythewood and Sheila Atim, as they repped their movie, The Woman King for the show.

Viola, who is also seen on the red carpet with husband Julius Tennon, is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.

Meanwhile, The Woman King was up for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture. Top Gun: Maverick picked up that honor earlier this week.

You may be wondering why numerous stars are wearing blue ribbons on the red carpet at the 2023 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 19) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

The ribbons read “#WithRefugees” on the front and are to show solidarity and support for those who have been displaced, especially amid Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The UNHCR adds, “The #WithRefugees Coalition is a powerful force for good inspiring work in solidarity with people forced to flee all over the world.”

The 2023 BAFTAs show has begun and we are recapping all of the looks from the red carpet!

The stars are out in full force for the EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday (February 19) at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England.

The BAFTAs are considered to be the British Oscars and most of the stars nominated at this year’s Oscars are also up for awards tonight.

The Netflix movie All Quiet on the Western Front is leading the nominations this year with 14 noms while The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once are both up for 10 awards.
