Two longtime Star Wars projects have been officially shelved.
The two projects in question were Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins‘ Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, and another Star Wars film that did not have a title that was being developed by Marvel executive Kevin Feige.

Patty Jenkins is speaking out.
The director took to social media with a lengthy message following the news that Warner Bros. has shelved all development of future Wonder Woman movies at this time.
An additional report also suggested that Patty “walked away” from the project, however, she’s setting the record straight.

Patty Jenkins will not be directing Wonder Woman 3 and it’s still unclear if the project will still happen, but we now know details about what led to her decision to walk off the movie.
It was reported on Wednesday (December 7) that all plans for a third movie are on hold and that new DC Universe bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran were the ones to put a stop on the franchise.
A new report from TheWrap, which was released on Thursday (December 8), claims that Patty was the one who decided to leave the project.

Alexandra Shipp, Jennifer Morrison and Thuso Mbedu arrive in style for the Through Her Lens: The Tribeca CHANEL Women’s Filmmaker Program Luncheon held at Locanda Verde on Tuesday afternoon (September 20) in New York City.
The three stars were joined by many more, including Patty Jenkins, Annette Bening, Katie Holmes, Cazzie David, Dianna Agron, Zosia Mamet, Chase Sui Wonders, Minnie Mills, and Sydney Chandler.
Others in attendance include model Christy Turlington, Chandler Kinney, Havana Rose Liu, Alysia Reiner, Clara McGregor, Eve Hewson, Grace Gummer, and Cassi Namoda.
A hundred women leaders in entertainment – actors, directors, writers, producers, casting directors and costume designers – were brought together to celebrate their filmmaking community.
The program will discover and empower ten rising filmmakers with project support, master classes, one-on-one mentorship, peer-to-peer sessions, and will award $100,000 for project development and production.
