Since the release of Episode IV: A New Hope in 1977, Star Wars has grown into a massive franchise spanning multiple movies, television series and video games.

Fox Business wrote in 2020 that combined box-office total for all the films was around $10 billion worldwide, making the franchise among the highest-earning of all time.

The married couple attended the UK premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny on Monday night (June 26) in London, England.

Daisy Ridley is back to the Star Wars franchise, and now people are wondering if her former co-star John Boyega will return as well.

If you missed it, it was confirmed that the 30-year-old actress was returning to her role Rey for the first time since 2019′s Rise of Skywalker for a new movie. That was also the last time that John appeared in the franchise playing Finn.

Since Daisy is making a comeback, fans turned around and got John‘s name trending on Twitter. They wanted to know if he’d be getting another movie, too.

However, the actor recently hinted at the answer to that question during an interview. In the process, he revealed the role he thought he’d be playing from here on out.

Daisy Ridley is back as Rey!

The 30-year-old actress was confirmed for a new Star Wars movie at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in London by LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy.

Three films were confirmed to be in the works including one coming from The Mandalorian executive producer Dave Filoni and another from James Mangold.

Daisy was last seen in 2019′s Rise of Skywalker.

The movie that Daisy will star in will be led by director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and will pick up 15 years after The Rise Of Skywalker ended. Her focus will be rebuilding the Jedi Order.

“I’ve always been attracted to the hero’s journey and the fact that the world needs many more heroes,” said Sharmeen on stage, per IGN.

“My heart is pounding,” Daisy said. “I’m very thrilled to be continuing this journey.”

Daisy Ridley has the support of her husband Tom Bateman while at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival!

The 30-year-old actress was at the festival for the premiere of her new movie Sometimes I Think About Dying on Thursday (January 19) in Park City, Utah.

While Tom didn’t walk the carpet with Daisy, he was seen holding her hand while heading into the venue. The couple have never confirmed their marriage to fans, but photographers say that they were overheard saying they are indeed married.

Daisy was joined at the event by co-stars Brittany O’Grady and Bree Elrod, director Rachel Lambert, and others.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: “Fran (Ridley), who likes to think about dying, makes the new guy at work laugh, which leads to dating and more, now the only thing standing in their way is Fran herself.”

Longtime couple Daisy Ridley and Tom Bateman aren’t spotted together in public that often, but they posed for some rare photos at an event this week!

The 30-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor stepped out for the BFI London Film Festival Luminous Gala on Thursday night (September 29) at The Londoner Hotel in London, England.

Daisy has been in a relationship with her Murder on the Orient Express co-star Tom for years and rumors have swirled that they got married in 2020, but nothing was ever confirmed. Photos showed the couple wearing what looks to be wedding rings.

In a previous interview, Daisy explained why she won’t discuss her private life.

“I don’t know. What I do know is that when I signed on to Star Wars, there was nothing in my contract that said, ‘Your life will be talked about,’” Daisy said in an interview with Tatler.

She continued, “It got to the point where I realized so much of my life was out there. People knew my mum’s name, my dad’s name, what my sisters do for a living. And I thought it would be nice to have something that’s for me, that isn’t for everybody else. I just thought I would keep that separate.”
