Gucci had an incredibly star-studded crowd at its Milan Fashion Week show this season!

Ryan Gosling, Julia Roberts, and Jessica Chastain are just some of the many stars who were in attendance at the fashion show on Friday (September 22) in Milan, Italy.

Hot couples like Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny, Halle Bailey and DDG, and Julia Garner and Mark Foster were also in attendance.

Andrew Scott is getting major Oscar buzz for his work in the new movie All Of Us Strangers and the official trailer for the movie is finally out now!

The Emmy-nominated actor stars alongside Paul Mescal, Claire Foy, and Jamie Bell in the new film, which was written and directed by Weekend and Looking: The Movie director Andrew Haigh.

Here’s the synopsis: “One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (a screenwriter, played by Scott) has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry (Mescal) that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where it appears his long-dead parents (Foy and Bell) are both living and look the same age as the day they died thirty years before.”

The Hollywood Reporter has released its first list of Oscars predictions and Andrew is listed as a “major threat” in the Best Actor category.

The director recently talked about the sex scenes between Paul and Andrew.

Pedro Pascal opened up about the upcoming Gladiator sequel in a new interview with Esquire UK.

The 27-year-old Aftersun actor was announced as the star of the long-awaited sequel back in January. Original director Ridley Scott is back in action for the sequel, and franchise star Russell Crowe has also revealed if he will make a cameo.

Speaking with the outlet, Paul touched on some rumors about the movie, including if he was playing Russell‘s son (“nawp”) and if he would be playing a gladiator (“I can’t get into that”).

Clearly, he couldn’t share big plot details. However, he did have some other big revelations, including insight about if he had reached out to Russell for advice and a recollection about his first meeting with co-star Pedro Pascal.

On the pressure that comes with starring in the upcoming Gladiator sequel: “I can’t tell you how stressed I am talking about that film in particular, because it’s definitely the biggest one I’ve done. I feel really excited, but, it’s difficult to get away from the legacy of the film a bit. I think it’s really well written and it pays homage to the first one, but it’s very much something that I think I can step into and make comfortably my own.”

On if he’d ask Russell Crowe for advice about the Gladiator sequel: “I’d love to hear his stories from filming, but the character is totally separate.”

On spotting his Gladiator co-star, Pedro Pascal, at the airport: “I was too afraid to go up to him. He came up and just seemed so genuine; I’m really looking forward to hanging out with him.”

In the interview, Paul confirmed that he had not met any other co-stars yet.

On the anxiety of a new film set: “It’s the worst feeling! You fly to a new country and figure out who’s there, and then you panic in your bedroom about being social, and then you kind of let that go. I tend to hang out by myself for a bit until I get my feet on the ground with the work itself. I think that’s the best way to do it, rather than force intimacy that doesn’t exist yet.”

Weekend and Looking: The Movie director Andrew Haigh is the writer and director of the new film and he’s talking about the “fearless” way Paul and Andrew shot those intimate moments.

“There was chemistry between the two of them literally the second I saw them together,” Haigh told Vanity Fair. “Both of them were pretty fearless. There was no sense of them being afraid of approaching those scenes. They knew how important they were.”

Haigh‘s approach with the scenes were different than his past projects. He said, “I’ve been more objective in how I’ve shot sex scenes in the past. Here, I really wanted to feel the subjective nature of having sex and what it feels like — the nervousness and the excitement and the physical sensation of being touched by someone else, and what that does to you.”

He also talked about casting Andrew, an openly gay actor, in the movie.

“I’m not one of those people who thinks you have to cast a queer actor in a queer role, but for this role, I did want to because I was trying to unpick some nuances of a certain generation of gay people,” he said. “I needed someone that could understand that and have those conversations with me. I didn’t want it to feel like I was trying to explain what it was like…I make no bones about the fact that this is a specific experience I’m telling, of a man in his late 40s who’s gay. I’m trying to tell something that I understand, that is my experience of the world, and that is authentic to me.”

The film will be released in theaters on December 22, 2023.

Apparently, all Paul had to do was go shirtless!

Daria said that the reaction she and other execs witness after he went shirtless in A Streetcar Named Desire on The West End in London, was a key factor in his casting.

The cast of the Gladiator sequel starring Paul Mescal is continuing to grow.

At the very start of the year, it was confirmed that Paul would be taking center stage in the sequel, which is being helmed by director Ridley Scott. The original movie famously starred Russell Crowe, who earned an Oscar for it.

Since Paul‘s casting was announced, Barry Keoghan and Denzel Washington have both entered talks to star alongside him. The former is set to play the character Emperor Geta. Denzel‘s role is still under wraps.

“If you’re a kid and the internet somehow taught you that that’s an OK thing to do, then of course I hate capitalism and everything that led you to believe that it’s OK to do that,” Phoebe told Them.

Phoebe says people were basically hitting her while she was down.

“I, at one of the lowest points of my life, saw people who claim to love me f—king dehumanize me and shame me and f—king bully me on the way to my dad’s wake,” she said.

Speculation arose that Phoebe and Gladiator 2 actor Paul Mescal had ended their relationship. At the same time, Phoebe was spotted walking through Los Angeles International Airport with comedian Bo Burnham, which may have prompted the negativity.

Regardless, Phoebe says those bullying and trolling her knew she was dealing with her father’s passing. “A lot of the top comments [were] like, ‘Hey, her dad just died, what are you guys doing?’ If you harass her with her face as your profile picture, I f—king hate you. And I hope you grow the f—k up,” she said.

“I don’t have to sit here and be f—king grateful that that happened and that that’s a part of my job,” Phoebe continued. “It doesn’t have to be, and it wasn’t five years ago, so I appreciate being able to look at two other people and be, like, this is dehumanizing abuse, horrible s—t.”

During an appearance on RTÉ Radio One’s The Ryan Tubridy Show, Russell revealed that he’s actually not involved at all in the sequel.

Instead, the movie will be set 20 years in the future and center on Paul‘s Lucius, the nephew of since-deceased Commodus who was killed by Maximus, whom Russell portrayed.

“I’m sure at some point in time they’ll want to ask me about something, but they haven’t brought anything up in a while,” he shared. “It’s an extension of the narrative, but it is long beyond Maximus’ passing, so it doesn’t really involve me at all.”

Russell added that he hears “that young fella Paul is a good dude and I wish him the best of luck with it. I think where they’re picking the story up from, a young Lucius, stepping into the role of emperor. I think that’s a very smart idea within the world of the film that we created.”

While he’s not involved with production, Russell did note that a lot of his friends will probably working on the movie: “I already know designers and leather workers making the armor and things like that.”

“I don’t want to dwell on it too much because it does take me back to a period of time when obviously I was significantly younger. And you know, the rose-colored glasses of that experience now are perfectly crystallized,” he says. “I look back on it and I loved every minute of it, and that wasn’t actually the case at the time.”

“I do like being on a period movie set. Stepping into those sorts of costumes and those sorts of situations and stuff, it has great appeal to me,” Russell shared, looking back at it. “There’s a slight edge of jealousy that people get to have that experience that I had once.”

This would mark the second project that Denzel and Ridley, 85, have worked on together. Back in 2007, Denzel starred in American Gangster, which Ridley directed.

Paul told the outlet that he’ll keep starring in films just like Aftersun.

“Indie cinema is where I want to live and be. So to be in the middle of that is something that I take great pride in. I love this film, I love Charlotte [Wells], I love Frankie [Corio], so it’s an easy and happy place for me to be right now,” he shared.

Paul then added that indies are getting a ton of love at the moment.

“It’s a really cool bi-product of making a film that landed with people, and it’s just important to remind ourselves that the reason that is happening is because people still want to go see independent cinema.”

The Best Lead Performance film nominees have arrived at the 2023 Independent Spirit Awards.

Paul Mescal recently had the opportunity to meet Nicole Kidman and he says he was in “sweaty underwear” at the time!

The 27-year-old Oscar-nominated actor opened up about the meeting while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (March 2) in Hollywood.

Nicole came to see Paul in a recent performance of the play A Streetcar Named Desire on the West End in London. After the show, there was a knock on the dressing room door.

“We thought it was the stage manager or something and I go to open the door,” Paul said. “It’s Nicole Kidman, and I’m standing there in, like, sweaty underwear.”

“You’d think the next smart step is [to] put on some trousers, but there’s something incredibly undignified about the act of [pulling up pants]. It’s not a look you want to be caught in, [bending] over,” he added.

Jessica Chastain is reacting to her blink-and-you’d-miss-it trip up the stairs while going to accept her 2023 SAG Award for Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries for her work in George & Tammy.

If you don’t know, the awards show took place last night (February 26), live in Los Angeles. When Jessica won, she tripped while walking up the stairs to the stage, and she’s now reacting to what happened and explaining why she tripped.

She told People she was “a little embarrassed. I tripped on the stairs — but I had two very handsome men helping me up so that wasn’t so bad.” One of the men who helped her was Paul Mescal, who you can see assisting in the pics below.

“I was trapped in my [Zuhair Murad] dress and I had very nice men helping me, so that was a plus,” Jessica told ET afterwards about what happened as she was getting up the steps to accept her award.

Paul Mescal rushed from the red carpet to his next job at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night (February 26) in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old Aftersun star arrived at the Fairmont Century Plaza for the ceremony wearing a long black jacket with pearl and diamond detailing.

Shortly after the ceremony started, he took the stage alongside Zendaya to give out the first award!

She took home the win for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for her work in George & Tammy, beating out Emily Blunt, Julia Garner, Niecy Nash and Amanda Seyfried for the honor.

In case you missed it, Zendaya switched up her look from the red carpet, opting for a sleek pink dress with a black top and detailing.

In a new interview, the 27-year-old actor, who is nominated for Best Actor at the 2023 Oscars for his role in Aftersun, revealed the correct way to say his last name.

“People get confused with how to pronounce my name because of the drink Mezcal,” Paul shared with The Hollywood Reporter.

Paul went on to explain that you pronounce “Mescal” with a softer “s” and “a.”

“Everybody does it. I pronounce it ‘Mescal’ and I wonder if I launched a tequila line I would have to, I would call it ‘Mescal’s Mezcal.’ I’m on the fence,” Paul jokingly added.
