Janet Jackson meets up with Sia backstage at the Christian Siriano fashion show during 2023 New York Fashion Week at the Pierre Hotel on Friday (September 8) in New York City.

Sia was a surprise guest at the event, where she performed two of her mega hit songs, “Chandelier” and “Diamonds.”

Among the stars sitting front row at the presentation were Avril Lavigne, Kesha, Laverne Cox, Quinta Brunson, Sarah Hyland, Padma Lakshmi, Alicia Silverstone, Harvey Guillen, Laura Linney, and Rosie Perez.

“I stopped making clothes that everybody thought they wanted me to do. I just started making things that I love to do, and I’m glad that a lot of people that want to wear them caught on,” Christian told Fashionista backstage at the event, which included a collection full of soft neutrals, black and tulle.

He added, “Even if you don’t have everybody on your side — I mean, I feel great when Janet Jackson calls and wants five looks.”

The after party for the fashion show was held at Richie Akiva‘s The Ned NoMad and Candy Pop popcorn was served. A dinner party was also held at the new West Village restaurant Ambra.

Every night during the 33-year-old “You’re On Your Own, Kid” singer-songwriter’s record-breaking trek, dozens of superstars are spotted enjoying the show, often showing off their experiences on their own social media, or being pictured trading friendship bracelets from the VIP section.

Night 2 (August 4) and Night 3 (August 5) of Taylor Swift‘s LA stop at SoFi Stadium was definitely no exceptions, as several stars were seen singing and dancing along, as well as taking selfies with eager Swifties in attendance. (See who went to the first night!)

The 36-year-old “We R Who We R” singer-songwriter got candid in an interview with WSJ. Magazine, out now.

Kesha is getting candid about her wellbeing.

The 36-year-old “Only Love Can Save Us Now” singer opened up to SELF about her recent diagnosis.

During the conversation, she spoke about being diagnosed with common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), a primary immunodeficiency disease that puts her at an especially high risk of developing recurrent, and potentially serious, infections.

She also opened up about her ongoing recovery from bulimia, and a recent health scare in January that nearly killed her.

Kesha just scored a point in her ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke.

If you were unaware, the “Praying” hitmaker and the producer (real name Lukasz Gottwald) have been engaged in a battle for years now that started in 2014 when Kesha accused Dr. Luke of sexual assault amongst other things.

They are now heading to court after he sued her for defamation. However, a new legal decision will make it harder for him to prove his case.
