Taylor Swift Drops Shady Joke About Kanye West VMAs Moment During Eras Tour

Taylor Swift still has jokes about her 2009 moment with Kanye West at the MTV VMAs.

Fans will instantly know that at the 2009 award show, Kanye infamously interrupted Taylor during her acceptance speech, all to declare that Beyonce‘s music video was better than hers.

It’s now been 14 years since then, and Taylor dropped a shady joke about it during her Eras Tour in Mexico City over the weekend.

According to reports, Taylor was in the middle of her Evermore, when she was “interrupted” while talking to the audience by the crowd chanting her name.

She then joked that it was “the best way to be interrupted, by the way, just people chanting your name,” she said.

Taylor then added that “it’s really the only way to be interrupted, and I would know.”

The latter was a subtle hint towards Kanye‘s interruption.
