Only 3 'Friends' Stars Have Weighed In On a Revival Since the 2021 Reunion, & It Doesn't Look Good

The cast of Friends will always be there for us, but it might just be in the form of re-runs of the beloved sitcom.

Believe it or not, it’s been more than two years since Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry got back together to film a one-off reunion for HBO.

However, in the era of unexpected (and sometimes long-awaited) sequels or spinoffs, fans continue to hold out hope that the six castmates will get together again for some sort of special new Friends project.

What are the chances? We did some digging to find out if anyone has said anything about the possibility over the years.

Sadly, only three of the six main stars answered the question about a possible reunion. Another member of the main cast provided some other interesting information on why they haven’t reunited with their Friends co-stars in other projects, too!

Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Daveed Diggs & More Star in Apple TV+'s 'Extrapolations' - See The First Pics!

Meryl Streep and Kit Harington are featured in the very first images released from Apple TV+’s Extrapolations.

The two big name actors will star alongside so many more in the upcoming series, which is described as “a bracing drama that introduces a near future where the chaotic effects of climate change have become embedded into our everyday lives.”

Apple shared that the show will feature eight interwoven stories about love, work, faith and family from across the globe will explore the intimate, life-altering choices that must be made when the planet is changing faster than the population.

Every story is different, but the fight for our future is universal. And when the fate of humanity is up against a ticking clock, the battle between courage and complacency has never been more urgent. Are we brave enough to become the solution to our own undoing before it’s too late?

Other stars involved in the show include Sienna Miller, Daveed Diggs, Edward Norton, Diane Lane, Tahar Rahim, Yara Shahidi, Matthew Rhys, Gemma Chan, David Schwimmer, Adarsh Gourav, Keri Russell, Marion Cotillard, Forest Whitaker, Eiza González, Murray Bartlett, Indira Varma, Tobey Maguire, MaameYaa Boafo, Hari Nef, Heather Graham, Michael Gandolfini, Cherry Jones, Gaz Choudhry, Ben Harper, Judd Hirsch and Neska Rose.

Extrapolations is set to debut with the first three episodes on Friday, March 17. New episodes will then follow weekly, every Friday through April 21.
