King Charles and Queen Camilla stepped out together for a black tie dinner event in Paris!

The reigning monarchs of the United Kingdom were hosted by French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, for a state banquet held at the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles on on Wednesday night (September 20).

The quartet were joined by a multitude of celebrities for the banquet, which marked the King and Queen’s first official visit to France in their new reign.

They included Mick Jagger and partner, Melanie Hamrick, as well as Hugh Grant with his wife, Anna Eberstein.

Earlier in the day, the King and Queen met up with Emmanuel and Brigitte at the Arc de Triomphe and visited the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, where Charles then lit the Eternal Flame at the Tomb.

The top senior royals stepped out to mark the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II‘s passing, one year after her death in 2022.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla were seen at a special ceremony at Crathie Parish Church in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where a service was held in honor of the late monarch, who was Charles‘ mother.

Arthur Chatto, who was Queen Elizabeth‘s grand-nephew, was also spotted at the service, near Balmoral.

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, were seen at St. David’s Cathedral in Wales for another special service to mark the somber occasion.

Following their tribute to the late monarch, Kate and William were seen greeting well-wishers outside the church.

Queen Elizabeth passed away at Balmoral Castle, on September 8, 2022, which brought an end to her 70-year reign, making her the longest reigning British monarch in history.

She is buried in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Earlier in the day, Prince Harry was seen at a memorial for the late Queen.

Speaking to People, royal biographer Robert Hardman weighed in on what happened behind the scenes when the Prince and Meghan Markle announced plans to step back from their royal duties and pursue life in the United States. Chiefly, they hinted at what happened to his relationship with the Queen.
