Sharon Osbourne is opening up about her Ozempic use.

“I didn’t want to go this thin. It just happened,” Sharon said. “You can’t stay on it forever. I lost 42 pounds now and it’s just enough.”

Sharon also detailed the nausea she experienced while taking the injections, saying, “You don’t throw up physically but you have got that feeling.”

“I was about two three weeks where I felt nauseous the whole time,” Sharon explained. “You get very thirsty and you don’t eat. That’s why I say you have to keep this stuff away from younger people. They will go berserk on it and it’s not right.”

After losing more weight than she expected, Sharon said that she has since stopped taking Ozempic.

“It’s just time to stop, I didn’t actually want to go this thin but it just happened,” Sharon admitted. “I’ll probably put it all on again soon, I’ve done it my whole life.”

“Do you know why people use Semaglutide (an anti-diabetic medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, sold under the brand names Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus)? Because there is a hormone,” Jillian told The Messenger. “Something that mimics a hormone in your body that regulates appetite, cravings and delays gastric emptying. So it messes with the appetite center in your brain to make you feel less hungry. What are you going to do? Eat less. And it delays gastric emptying, making you feel fuller for longer.”

The problem is that “you have a host of negative side effects which exist on [the] website. We’ve got potential thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, gallbladder issues, kidney issues, loss of vision, nausea, vomiting, heart palpitations.”

“You run the risk of all of those health issues, and if you don’t experience the more serious ones, I promise you’ll feel like s—. I’ve yet to meet the person who didn’t feel like s— when they were on that drug,” she continued. “I’m telling you that if we can find a way to get you to eat a little bit less every single day with a step goal that we could beat the rate of Ozempic and have nothing but upside on the side effects. And guess what? By changing these habits, we would have a permanent solution. My opinion is that it isn’t worth it.”

“I was 17 and I told you, I said, mom, I really have a dream of one day doing stuff like Will Smith – I want to be able to do comedy and action. And I was like, ‘I got to get a trainer!’…and I started training and training and training. I was always putting so much pressure on myself and I feel like with Nope, I got a great opportunity to do some action stuff and I definitely had already obtained a pretty fit body. But my frame has always been quite small, so it’s interesting after the baby to see all the extra stuff I have to work with and how much my fear of having extra weight actually became a strength as it pertained to weight training and working out…like it gave me so much more to work with and mold with. And so it’s interesting to see how that’s going to be able to be used for future roles and stuff.”

On body standards as a mom:

“I just had the baby and they want me to be this representation of ‘As a mom, you can blah, blah, blah!’…But also I want to say, like, it’s my job. Like let’s not get crazy and I don’t want people to think that I’m also setting unrealistic standards – because I can afford a trainer. I can afford meal prep. I can afford a lot of things and it’s expensive, but I’m investing in my career because it’s my career to look good. And not even that, but it’s my career choice to have this kind of career that I want to have…I specifically want to be in action. I specifically want to do certain things that would require me [to be fit], you know? So it’s like, it’s a personal choice. And so I never want to put that on anybody. And that’s big for me. Cause I know that a lot of people look at me and I represent a lot of people in different ways.”

On Ozempic:

“So, this is my thing with the Ozempic. It sucks…you know, I get the girls want to get into shape. But I hate that sometimes, you know, Ozempic, from my knowledge, I know it’s been made for people that have diabetes. Ever since the girls have been using it to lose weight, the folks with diabetes ain’t able to get [it], the prices have gone up.”

On Lizzo:

“She loves aesthetics. She’s sexy. She’s a fashion girl. She’s confident. She’s not somebody that is like, ‘Okay, yeah, motherf-ckers, I’m overweight. But why did that mean I’m not sexy? Why did that mean I don’t have a great wardrobe? Why did that mean I’m not stylish, et cetera?’ And so I love that because I do think that there’s this negative connotation that if you’re overweight, all of a sudden that is indicative of how you feel about yourself.”

“I don’t know what happened. I think I just went for four months hard when we were filming and I ate too much, drank too much, and just didn’t get enough sleep, didn’t exercise,” Emily admitted.

Emily said she became “really depressed” because she knew she had “gained weight,” so she went to a doctor who said that she was pre-diabetic and suggested she try Ozempic.

“So I did. I did that in December,” Emily said. “For one month and you know, that was a great kickstart for me.”

Emily explained that Ozempic helped her kick her bad habits of “grazing” and “not really paying attention” to what she was eating. After losing about seven pounds on the drug, she decided to stop taking it because it left her feeling exhausted.

“I didn’t like the way it made me feel lethargic and it made me just not have a lot of energy, which was hard with three little kids, but it does make you feel full and it does make you, for me, it was like a refresh,” Emily said.

In January, Emily had liposuction on her arms – which she says have “always bothered” her – and underwent a breast reduction.

“Just the surgery alone was just, I felt like it was just a huge difference in my overall look just to have the thinner arms and just the smaller chest,” Emily said, “and I was so happy with the surgery, and I have so much muscle underneath that when he did the liposuction, my arms were just jacked.”

After trying Ozempic and undergoing the procedures, Emily decided to completely change her diet and focused on consuming more protein, and she now says she’s the healthiest she’s ever been.

“I don’t want to be detrimental to myself. I don’t want to say negative things about myself. I have a daughter. There’s women out there. You know?” Emily shared. “I just think it’s important that I embrace who I was at that time and now I’ve gotten healthier. I feel better about myself, but I still think I was hot.”

“Like a year ago, I tried it. I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn’t play with my son. I was so skinny and he’s throwing a ball at me and [I couldn’t],” Amy shared. “And you’re like, ‘OK, this isn’t livable for me.’”

Despite going off Ozempic, Amy said she “immediately invested [in it] because I knew everyone was going to try it.”

Amy – who revealed that in January 2022 that she got liposuction – also addressed how fellow celebs talk about weight loss.

“Everyone has been lying saying, ‘Oh smaller portions.’ Like shut the f—k up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things or you got work done. Just stop,” Amy said. “Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo.”

“It’s a gorgeous day for narcissism!” Gracie captioned her photo before responding to a commenter who added, “And Ozempic!”

Gracie was calm in her response, writing, that she “did use Ozempic last year, yes. I am now on a low dose of Mounjaro for my PCOS as well as working out. No need to accuse when I have been open about it.”

Gracie has been open up about her use of the drug, as she took it to help with symptoms of PCOS.

She told her followers that she and her endocrinologist “decided to try a medicine to regulate my body more normally and create the tools to continue to keep my body and myself healthy as I get older.”

She was also prescribed Qysmia at that time.

“I share my experience to hope my situation has reached someone who can relate ❤️❤️” she added. “The medicine I’m taking has given me a body I haven’t had in years (maybe ever?) in a good way though. It’s weird to see how your body can change so rapidly but I’m finding new ways to love her and new things to love about her everyday.”

“I’m learning to navigate the new blemishes but I don’t think that I would have ever allowed myself to go to a doctors appointment like this unless I had taken the correct steps toward my mental health, because as much as physical health is important, mental goes hand and hand,” Gracie concluded at the time. “Sending love to those who are struggling with something similar or literally anything at all. Mental health is freaking hard !! It’s a long road but we can get through it.”

Ana penned a response to the comment on her post, opening up about how she changed her lifestyle.

“I’ve posted about my weight-loss journey many times. I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life. The pandemic and menopause made it worse. In 2021, my mom died of kidney disease brought on by diabetes. She suffered terribly the last years of her life. That scared the beejeezus out of me,” Ana wrote.

She continued: “Last August, I went to a wellness spa in Mexico called @rancholapuerta with two of my friends since grade school. We had all turned 50 and wanted to be healthier. I spent time there learning to cook and eat healthier, reprogramming the way I think of my lifestyle, and being more active.”

“When we came back to Miami, we were determined to continue some of our healthy habits. I also sought professional help – nutritionist, medical supervision (I was on the verge of pre-diabetes), pilates coach (I joined a Pilates club in Miami and NYC), and pickleball coach (I try to play at least twice a week). So it’s been a complete lifestyle change -except for the d-mn rosé and margaritas, which I can’t give up,” she explained.

The host said that she is losing between four and five pounds monthly after implementing the changes.

“I am not equipped to give anyone advice or endorse any solution. We all have to figure out what works for each us. It is a daily struggle for me. I still really like tequila and staying in bed with my poodle,” she said.

Ana isn’t the only star to address accusations that they are using Ozempic.

Mama June Shannon is speaking out about her body and the controversial diet trend that’s sweeping Hollywood.

The 43-year-old Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star lost approximately 300 pounds several years ago. However, she said that she’s since gained some of that back.

Mama June told the Daily Mail that Ozempic was not for her.

“I don’t want to try Ozempic because, honestly, I’ve heard about so many bad side effects,” she explained.

I don’t drink soda, I don’t drink tea, I don’t snack like I used to and all that. I don’t move on the scale now, front or back.”

For those unfamiliar, Ozempic is a prescription drug used to help people with Type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar levels. However, it has been discovered that some use Ozempic because a side effect is weight loss.

One troll wrote in the comments, “I think it’s many visits to the plastic surgeon.”
