The White Lotus is dominating the nominations at the 2023 Emmy Awards and a majority of the actors from the show got nominated for awards!

In season two of the HBO drama series, there were 15 main actors and nine of them received nominations in the acting categories. Sadly, that means six of them didn’t.

In addition to the acting noms, The White Lotus was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, plus Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for creator Mike White.

The Emmy Awards will air in September 2023!

The 61-year-old The White Lotus star got candid in an interview for British GQ, out now.

During the conversation, Jennifer revealed why she almost turned down her role, the fate of her character, the idea of having kids one day, and the men she dates – as well as an unexpected roomie in the ’00s.

Jennifer Coolidge is taking over Australia!

The 61-year-old actress was spotted at a press conference with The White Lotus creator Mike White held at the Park Hyatt Hotel on Saturday (June 10) in Sydney.

Jennifer and Mike then appeared together at the Vivid Festival, where they opened up about having a season of the hit HBO series set in Australia.

“My dream would be to hit every continent,” he shared at the press conference. “We kind of have to come to Australia if we keep going.”

Mike went on, “It would be so fun. Obviously, there’s a huge wealth of talent here and the beauty is inarguable, so it feels like it checks all the boxes.”

While it’s not known if Jennifer‘s Tanya could return, at least in human form for season three, she does have some ideas about how it could happen.

The 61-year-old award-winning actress got candid about the hit HBO series during a conversation with The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White for Variety‘s Actors on Actors series, where she opened up about not only Tanya, but what she thinks season three might look like.

Jennifer Coolidge is the latest winner of MTV’s Comedic Genius Award.

The White Lotus star, who also picked up the Most Frightened Performance popcorn honor, have a shout out to those at the Writer’s Strike in her acceptance speech.

“Thank you, MTV,” she started. “Thank you for honoring me with this incredible Comedic Genius Award.”

Jennifer then name dropped a few previous winners, who all started at Groundlings with her.

Then, Jennifer paid homage to the writers who are striking right now.

“Almost all great comedy starts with great writers and I just think that, you know, as a proud member of [SAG-AFTRA], I stand here before you tonight, side by side with my sisters and brothers from the WGA that are fighting right now, fighting for the rights of artists everywhere,” she said.

“I think of the words of Shakespeare where he once said, ‘The play is the thing.’ Well, I don’t wanna put words in his mouth or anything, but I think what he really meant was, it’s everything.”
