Mark Wahlberg is looking ahead to his future as an actor.

The 52-year-old actor spoke to Cigar Aficionado in a new interview, revealing that he might stepping away from the limelight soon.

During his cover feature, Mark revealed that he knows the end of his career is nearer than it was a few years ago.

“Well, I’m certainly working harder now than ever,” Mark joked, before adding that in “certain businesses, you kind of build them, pass them on or you exit.”

Mark added, “Hopefully my kids, we’ll see what their interests are, but I don’t think that I’ll be acting that much longer at the pace I am now,” he shared. “That’s for sure. Because that’s the most difficult thing.”

While he wouldn’t be in front of the camera, that doesn’t mean he’d be leaving the industry entirely, as he is also a producer.

“I started becoming a producer out of necessity,” he said. “I didn’t want to sit around waiting for Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise or whoever was already established before me and were the guys at the time, and Leo [DiCaprio] to go and pass on a movie until I could get my hands on it.”

Mark added, “I was always proactive in trying to find material and things that I could produce, that I knew was right for me, create my own destiny.”

Previously, Mark has opened up about his intense daily schedule, which included waking up at an hour that most people are still asleep at.

The 2023 Met Gala is just days away and is going to be one of the most star-studded events of the year, and the Tiffany & Co. event just gave us a sneak peek at what’s to come!

Florence Pugh, Blake Lively, Michael B. Jordan, Katy Perry, Gabrielle Union, and more than 50 other celebs walked the red carpet for Tiffany & Co.‘s reopening of it’s NYC flagship store, The Landmark, on Thursday night (April 27) in New York City.

The exclusive party began with an opening set by DJ Mia Moretti, followed by a performance by the Radio City Rockettes, a headlining performance by Katy and a DJ set by Mark Ronson to close the evening.

The 51-year-old actor recently celebrated the opening of his second Wahlburger’s restaurant location on the Las Vegas Strip.

He says his entire family is doing really well after recently moving from California.

“I couldn’t be more excited,” Mark told Extra. “My kids are thriving here… I’ve really been welcomed with open arms, which has been very nice.”

Mark is married to Rhea Durham and they have daughters Ella, 19, and Grace, 13, and sons Michael, 17, and Brendan, 14.

Mark says that people’s perspectives on Las Vegas as a city may not be entirely accurate.

“People have a tendency to think of Las Vegas as the Vegas Strip. There’s tons of stuff to do here outside of gaming and nightlife… There’s lots of amazing communities that are faith-based and family-based and really cool, great schools,” The Fighter actor said.

Wahlburgers is a burger concept by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg.

“We have stores all over the country and now in various countries all over the world,” Mark said. “I think our customer… when they come to Nevada, they want a taste of home and so they gravitate towards all burgers, and we do have the best burgers and the best beer and the best desserts and the best healthy offerings on the Strip.”

The 51-year-old Oscar-nominated actor took over the bar at Roadside Taco to serve Flecha Azul Tequila to his fans on Friday (March 31) in Studio City, Calif.

Mark was joined behind the bar by Flecha Azul co-founder Aron Marquez and Roadside Taco owner Vincent Laresca. He poured shots of the Blanco, Reposado and Anejo flavors of his Flecha Azul tequila brand.

“Bar takeover with @flechaazultequila @roadsidetaco 🥃❤️ @aronhmarquez 🇲🇽thanks @vincentlaresca 🙏 #FlechaAzulPartner,” Mark wrote on Instagram along with a video from the event.

In a recent interview, Mark talked about how religion plays a major part in his life and that he recognizes religion is not popular in Hollywood. He says he won’t deny his faith.

Some of Hollywood’s favorite guys were presenters at the SAG Awards, but they skipped the red carpet and just appeared on stage.

Orlando Bloom, Don Cheadle, and Mark Wahlberg all presented awards at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night (February 26) at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

Mark presented the final award of the night, Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, to the cast of Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Don was there to present the In Memoriam tribute that honored all of the actors we’ve lost over the past year.

Orlando presented the award for Best Supporting Actor to Everything Everywhere All at Once‘s Ke Huy Quan.

“It’s a balance. I don’t wanna jam it down anybody’s throat, but I do not deny my faith,” Mark said. “That’s an even bigger sin. You know, it’s not popular in my industry, but, you know, I cannot deny my faith. It’s important for me to share that with people.”

Mark was asked what his faith means to him.

“It’s everything, it’s afforded me so many things,” he said. “God didn’t come to save the saints, he came to save the sinners. We’ve all had issues in our lives and we want to be better versions of ourselves, and through focusing [on] my faith, it’s allowed me to do that.”

Mark has been vacationing at the Sandy Lane Hotel for nearly two weeks!

Kevin Hart makes a statement in a bright red suit at the premiere of his new movie, Me Time, held at Regency Village Theatre on Tuesday night (August 23) in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old actor met up with his co-stars Mark Wahlberg, Regina Hall, Tahj Mowry, Jimmy O. Yang, Luis Gerardo Mendez, Deborah S. Craig, Michelle DeShon, Che Tafari, and Ilia Isorelys Paulino.

Kevin‘s wife Eniko Parrish, Lori Harvey, Rob Riggle, Kym Whitley, Joey McIntyre, and London Hughes were also there in support.

During an interview, Mark admitted that he really was naked in the scene fans see in the trailer for the flick.

“Unfortunately for me, the whole day lasted 12 hours in Long Beach on the pier,” he revealed to E!’s Daily Pop at the event. “And every once in a while, somebody would give me a robe or something, but not comfortable.”
