Janet Jackson meets up with Sia backstage at the Christian Siriano fashion show during 2023 New York Fashion Week at the Pierre Hotel on Friday (September 8) in New York City.

Sia was a surprise guest at the event, where she performed two of her mega hit songs, “Chandelier” and “Diamonds.”

Among the stars sitting front row at the presentation were Avril Lavigne, Kesha, Laverne Cox, Quinta Brunson, Sarah Hyland, Padma Lakshmi, Alicia Silverstone, Harvey Guillen, Laura Linney, and Rosie Perez.

“I stopped making clothes that everybody thought they wanted me to do. I just started making things that I love to do, and I’m glad that a lot of people that want to wear them caught on,” Christian told Fashionista backstage at the event, which included a collection full of soft neutrals, black and tulle.

He added, “Even if you don’t have everybody on your side — I mean, I feel great when Janet Jackson calls and wants five looks.”

The after party for the fashion show was held at Richie Akiva‘s The Ned NoMad and Candy Pop popcorn was served. A dinner party was also held at the new West Village restaurant Ambra.

It was B’Day over Labor Day Weekend – otherwise known as Beyoncé‘s birthday – and the stars turned up in droves to celebrate!

The “Break My Soul” superstar rang in her 42nd birthday on Monday night (September 4) at SoFi Stadium for the Los Angeles stop of her Renaissance World Tour, and there were tons of celebs in attendance to help sing and dance the night away in celebration.

Not only did some celebrities appear in the crowd, but a few even made cameos on stage!

Janelle Monae isn’t shy about her boobs anymore!

The 37-year-old musician lifted one side of her bra top to expose on of her breasts on stage during the 2023 Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, Louisiana over the weekend.

Just last month, Janelle opened up about the insecurity she once had for her breasts, and got candid about her acceptance of them.

In addition to Janelle, Eve also made a big return to the stage over the weekend, alongside fellow musicians Lauryn Hill, Kelly Rowland, Tobe Nwigwe, Ice T, Ice Cube, Coco Jones, Sandra Denton and Cheryl James of Salt-N-Pepa, Tems, Wizkid, Remy Ma, and Lil Wayne.

While the performances were hot, there were also a lot of major discussion panels throughout the weekend.

Oprah Winfrey spoke to Danielle Brooks, Blitz Bazawule, Fantasia Barrino and Taraji P. Henson; Abbott Elementary‘s Lisa Ann Walter, Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Janelle James; and Tiffany Haddish joined Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, and Justin Simien for a fun convo on stage too.

Other celebs spotted include The Bachelorette‘s Charity Lawson, Grey’s Anatomy‘s Chandra Wilson, Isis King, Quvenzhane Wallis, Sherri Shepard, Al Sharpton, Diamond White, Ashleigh Murray, and Sinclair Daniel.

Vice President Kamala Harris also made a special appearance at the festival, where she spoke with The View‘s Sunny Hostin.

Megan The Stallion lights up the stage at LA Pride in the Park 2023!

The 28-year-old rapper took over the stage and lit it up red at Los Angeles Historical Park on Friday night (June 9) in Los Angeles after being intro’d by Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson.

During Megan‘s set, she performed some of her biggest hits including “Savage” and “Body”, before sharing an inspiring speech about self-acceptance.

Other performers during the night included G-Flip, Fletcher, Tove Lo, Hayley Kiyoko, Bella Thorne, and more.

G-Flip got some support for their set by partner Chrishell Stause, along with other Selling Sunset stars Emma Hernan and Chelsea Lazkani spotted in the crowd.

Sharon Stone and Eva Longoria strike a pose at The Hollywood Reporter‘s Raising Our Voices Luncheon in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday (May 31).

The 48-year-old Desperate Housewives star and the 65-year-old actress were seen smiling for the camera as they arrived at the event.

Eva was honored as a 2023 Trailblazer at the event alongside Niecey Nash-Betts, who was joined on the red carpet by her wife Jessica Betts. Eva and Niecey were both recognized for their “commitment to telling stories that center diversity, equity and inclusion,” per THR.

Other stars at the event included director Taika Waititi – who was the luncheon’s keynote speaker – as well as Jeannie May, Quinta Brunson, Annie Gonzalez, N. Bird Runningwater, Henry R. Muñoz III and more.

Flavor Flav is showing his support for members of the Writers Guild of America!

The legendary rapper joined Jason Sudeikis and the Ted Lasso writing team on the picket lines outside of Warner Bros. Studios on Thursday afternoon (May 18) in Burbank, Calif.

In an episode of season three of Ted Lasso, Flavor Flav got a shout-out. One character said, “Superstars play by their own rules. Back in ’98, I waited three hours for Public Enemy to take the stage at the Cubby Bear. For a man with a giant clock around his neck, it ain’t about time. He’s making a statement.”

Flav responded to the shout-out and said, “Hey @tedlasso, it ain’t about time,,, it’s about being timeless! One time in 2023 I had to wait a whole year and half for one of my favorite tv shows to come back.”

Now, Flav is finally getting the chance to meet the people behind the joke!

Flav showed up at the picket lines with 25 Prince Street pizzas, 100 burgers from Irv’s Burgers, and Liquid Death water. He also met up with Quinta Brunson and the Abbott Elementary writers!
