'Queer Eye' Fan Favorite Tom Jackson Has Sadly Died

Tom Leon Jackson has sadly passed away.

The Queer Eye fan favorite, who appeared on Season 1 of the hit Netflix series, died at the age of 63 on March 3 after losing his battle with metastatic adenocarcinoma, a local obituary confirmed.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a member of our Queer Eye family. Rest in peace, Tom Jackson,” the official brand wrote on social media.

Several of the cast members also commented on the post on Instagram.

He appeared in the episode titled, “You Can’t Fix Ugly,” and opened up about living with lupus. He also went on to reconcile with his ex-wife Abby Parr, getting engaged and married for a second time before divorcing in 2019, via The Wrap.

He had worked for FedEx for years before entering retirement, and started a new career driving a dump truck for Taylor Transport in Cartersville, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, his family asks that people “watch season 1, episode 1 of Queer Eye on Netflix and tell others about it in honor of Tom.”

Our thoughts are with Tom Jackson‘s loved ones at this difficult time.
