Samuel L. Jackson Addresses Friend Quentin Tarantino's Comments About Marvel Actors

Samuel L. Jackson is addressing Quentin Tarantino‘s comments.

The 73-year-old Pulp Fiction actor spoke out about his longtime friend and collaborator, who recently made some divisive comments about Marvel movies.

Quentin previously said that Marvel actors are not movie stars.

In an interview on The View, Samuel challenged those comments.

“It takes an actor to be those particular characters, and the sign of movie stardom has always been, what, asses in seats? What are we talking about?” he said.

“That’s not a big controversy for me to know that apparently these actors are movie stars. Chadwick Boseman is Black Panther. You can’t refute that, and he’s a movie star.”

Samuel L. Jackson is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Nick Fury.

“Part of the Marvel-ization of Hollywood is…you have all these actors who have become famous playing these characters. But they’re not movie stars. Right? Captain America is the star,” Quentin previously said.
