Andrew Scott is getting major Oscar buzz for his work in the new movie All Of Us Strangers and the official trailer for the movie is finally out now!

The Emmy-nominated actor stars alongside Paul Mescal, Claire Foy, and Jamie Bell in the new film, which was written and directed by Weekend and Looking: The Movie director Andrew Haigh.

Here’s the synopsis: “One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (a screenwriter, played by Scott) has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry (Mescal) that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where it appears his long-dead parents (Foy and Bell) are both living and look the same age as the day they died thirty years before.”

Kate Mara had the support of husband Jamie Bell while celebrating her new documentary The Smell of Money at an L.A. screening.

The House of Cards actress is an executive producer on the new doc and she hosted the screening at The Grove on Tuesday (January 17) in Los Angeles.

Kate and Jamie were joined at the screening by director and producer Shawn Bannon, associate producer Michelle Cho, assistant editor Jenn Murphy, among others.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: “What is the price some pay for the world’s cheap pork? Elsie Herring and her rural North Carolina community take on the multibillion-dollar pork industry that has been spraying animal waste on their homes and land for decades.”

Kate told Variety, “After watching the film, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It’s a very haunting thing to learn about. I also felt this immense responsibility to the people (in the doc) and to their story. I wanted to work with Shawn to find a way to get their story out there because we want justice for them.”

Kate Mara and Jamie Bell are checking out a few properties for sale.

The 39-year-old House of Cards actress and the 36-year-old Rocketman actor spent the afternoon house hunting with a realtor in the Primrose Hill neighborhood of London, England on Monday (July 4).

For their outing, Kate wore a cream-colored jacket over a floral-print dress while Jamie sported a navy T-shirt and olive-colored trousers.

If you didn’t know, Kate and Jamie have been married since 2017 and share a daughter, who was born in May 2019. Jamie also shares 8-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Evan Rachel Wood.

In a recent interview, Kate opened up about about her marriage to Jamie and even revealed the most romantic thing he’s ever done for her!

Andrew Haigh has another big production on the way.

The acclaimed filmmaker, responsible for Weekend and Lean on Pete, is set to kick off production on his next feature film called Strangers, and there are four big stars joining the cast, including The Crown‘s Claire Foy.

Here’s a plot summary, via Variety: Strangers “follows screenwriter Adam who, one night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where he discovers that his long-dead parents are both living and look the same age as the day they died over 30 years ago.”

Claire will play Adam’s mother in the movie.
