Chris Evans and Alba Baptista were spotted by fans on a flight from Portugal to Boston amid rumors that they were having a second wedding abroad.

The 42-year-old Captain America actor and the 26-year-old Warrior Nun star, who got married in Boston a couple weeks ago, were photographed by fans while sitting in business class seats during the flight that left Lisbon.

A fan sent the photos to the gossip account @DeuxMoi and wrote, “DEUX! I know the girlies are gonna go crazy over this one. I’m currently on a flight from Lisbon to Boston and Chris Evans and Alba [are] in first class being super incognito – tried my hardest to snap a photo but this is the best I got for you.”

Page Six reported right after the September 9 wedding that Chris and Alba were planning a second wedding in Lisbon for Alba‘s family who couldn’t attend the U.S. celebration.

“There is going to be a second gathering in Portugal for members of Alba’s family who couldn’t be in Massachusetts,” the insider claimed. “Sometime this week, I believe. Then they’ll depart from Portugal for their honeymoon.”

Several celebs were in attendance at the first wedding.

Speaking to GQ in a new interview, Chris shared that his struggles stemmed from not understanding why all the events had to happen and why the structure of the train system was what it was.

“When I first read the script, I didn’t quite get it. I was like, ‘So…what?’ Whenever it’s a movie that’s world-building, you’re creating a completely separate environment. There’s just kind of a conceit that you have to say, ‘OK, so everyone just accepts this, this is just how it is? No one is kind of outraged that this is the structure? That’s just the norm, OK.’”

Chris continued, saying that as an actor, he had to make a decision to push the whys away.

“You kind of have to decide what part of your brain do you spend time wrapping your head around. Do you go the intimate road and just kind of make it about the character? Do you try and make it about what it took for that society to level into that place?” he shared. “It’s a challenge, but you get to watch Tilda Swinton in the movie and you get to watch her approach to this larger than life character.”

After he pushed his questions to the side, Chris said it was then he got to really trust Bong and the vision.

“Director Bong is such a visionary. When you’re working with someone that knows exactly what they want, even if it’s not exactly the way you saw it, it breeds trust,” Chris says. “As an actor, that’s the most important thing, to trust the director. Otherwise you’re playing defense. Otherwise you’re like, ‘Alright, this first take, well, I’ll just do this, just so I can at least protect that. Then I’ll try this, but I don’t want to try that because I don’t know if they know how to use that take. Any take I give them can be used against me.’ And when you have a director who is so convinced of what their vision is, that’s when you say, ‘Great. You say jump, I’ll say ‘How high?’”

Snowpiercer was developed into a television series. It ended earlier this year.

In an appearance on the 2 Bears 1 Cave podcast in December 2022, Quentin opined that the MCU’s actors are “not movie stars.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the Captain America actor explained why he did not feel like a movie star but implied that one of his MCU co-stars fit the bill.

“There are some people that you meet and you just think, Man, that’s a movie star,” Chris told GQ. Why doesn’t he feel like one? “I love to act,” he told the outlet. “But it’s not something that I couldn’t live without.”

In fact, Chris hinted at his desire to ease back on accepting major leading roles.

“I was going to say, I don’t want to waste too much time in this industry, but that doesn’t really feel.… That doesn’t sound correct,” he explained. “I don’t want to occupy too much space in an industry that I’ve already poured 20 years into.”

He added that he “would run away from the leading man role every time if I could,” offering the role to a different actor.

“Someone like Robert Downey Jr. walks in the room and he owns the oxygen,” he said of his MCU co-star. “He’s just such a presence, such a force. Magnetic in every way. Let him be the lead.”

Chris added that he “struggled” with the responsibilities of be an actor after filming was done. “Some people are just born to do it. I say: Let ’em. I’m not trying to fit into that box,” he continued.

While Chris hinted at plans to slow down, he did recently get to check a career-long goal off his list with his new movie Red One, which also stars Dwayne Wade, Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Liu: “I’ve just been looking for a Christmas movie my whole career.”

“The cast have spoken about this email chain a lot but there’s one detail that I don’t think anyone has mentioned,” he explained.

“We were exchanging emails when the movie was coming out and then this thread went dormant for about nine years. Then, before this anime was even on the docket, Michael Cera responded to a meme someone had sent as if no time had passed. He just said, ‘Oh, that’s funny,’” he continued.

“Chris Evans responded like, ‘Michael, what the f— are you doing responding to this email from nine years ago?’ And then we all started chatting again,” he recounts.

“We were all pretty young when we made the movie. We all felt like family and I think we have ever since,” he went on to reflect.

Robert Downey Jr. is opening up about the tattoo he shares with his fellow original Avengers.

If you were unaware, five of the six members of the core cast decided to get a group tattoo after the release of Avengers: Infinity War in 2018. The movie was one of the final ones that they all appeared in together, and the tattoo commemorates their bond.

The couple tied the knot Saturday (September 9) in an intimate ceremony that took place in Massachusetts at their Boston-area home.

According to the outlet, the ceremony was “locked down tight,” and guests signed NDAs and phones were forfeited.

Only their closest family and friends were reportedly there to witness the “beautiful” ceremony.

The guest list also allegedly included at least three of some of the actor’s Marvel Cinematic Universe co-stars.

He means so much to me, and I really do. I think there’s more Steve Rogers stories tell, sure. But at the same time, I’m very, very precious with it…it’s like this little shiny thing that I have that I love so much, and I just don’t want to mess up in any way, and I was a part of something that was so special for the special period of time and in a way, it really landed so well.

He then added, “As much as I’m connected to that role and love telling those stories and working with those people. It doesn’t quite feel right right now.”

Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) assembled for the first time in 2012′s The Avengers. Some of them seemingly bowed out – or been killed off in the universe – with 2019′s Avenger’s Endgame.

Over the years, each of the heroes was able to take center stage, whether it be in a standalone movie (or three) or a Disney+ series.

Since Endgame, it appears that the MCU is setting up for a new generation to run the game. That includes a group who has assumed the mantles that were previously held by some of the original stars.

Florence Pugh is seemingly stepping up to be a new Black Widow. Hailee Steinfeld could be the next Hawkeye. Anthony Mackie has already become Captain America and is in the process of filming his first solo movie. Dominique Thorne could easily be on the path to become the next Iron Man after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Tatiana Maslany followed in Mark’s footsteps to become She-Hulk. Natalie Portman even briefly assumed the title of The Mighty Thor.

Several of the original six have made it clear that they are likely done with the franchise. The future for others is more unclear.

Either way, we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to the group just yet and would love to see so many of them reprise their roles in some way.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is without a doubt one of the most successful franchises in recent history, and that’s thanks in large part to its star-studded and expertly selected cast of stars.

Since the premiere of Iron Man 15 years ago, casting agents for the series have managed to line up the perfect talent to bring each iconic comic book character to life.

Ghosted, starring Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, is breaking a lot of records for Apple TV+ right now!

The film, directed by Dexter Fletcher, pulled in 328,500 viewers, making it the most-watched movie debut to date for Apple TV+.

While the movie is a must-watch for fans, Dexter revealed that the had to nix one scene that he planned for the movie because it was streaming.

During an interview with Alex Zane‘s A Trip to the Movies podcast, Dexter said that he had a three-minute long intro scene in his head that he wanted to kick off the movie.

He told the host that he realized that “you can’t make a film for streaming the same way you do for theatrical. There are different metrics and approaches. There has to be, for the very reason that people can turn off very quickly.”

The scene that Dexter had in mind had Ana‘s character driving a car through a mountain (which referenced 1978′s Foul Play), and when he pitched that to Apple, they nixed it.

The network explained to Dexter that they had concerns about whether it would resonate with a streaming audience.

“I thought it was great, this three-minute opening scene, and they said you can’t do it because if it [the opening sequence] goes on and something doesn’t happen in the first 30 seconds, we know the data shows that people will just turn off,” he shared. “I don’t want that, so I make the compromise.”
