'NCIS' Season 21 - 8 Cast Members to Return, 1 Returning in Reduced Role

NCIS fans are anticipating the return of the hit TV series.

Back in February, CBS revealed that NCIS would be back for Season 21 during the 2023-2024 television season.

“BIG news. Get ready to grab your gear, we’ve got more work to do. #NCIS has officially been renewed for Season 21! We’ll see you there,” the network announced.

While there is no release date yet, CBS confirmed that the show will keep its Monday night slot at 9 p.m. ET, with NCIS: Hawaii following with new Season 3 episodes at 10 p.m. ET.

We also know which main cast members have renewed their contracts, and which one is taking on a significantly reduced role.

'The Talk' Postpones Premiere Amid Writer Strikes

The Talk is not coming back amid the Hollywood strikes, after all.

CBS confirmed in a statement on Sunday (September 17) that the daytime talk show will be pausing its season premiere, originally scheduled for Monday (September 18).

The Talk is pausing its season premiere scheduled for September 18. We will continue to evaluate plans for a new launch date,” a rep told Deadline.

'Survivor' Fall 2023 - 18 Contestants for Season 45 Revealed, 1 Returning From Previous Season!

Survivor is back!

The Emmy-nominated series returns to kick off a historic season of extended 90-minute original episodes on Wednesday nights beginning on Wednesday, September 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

The 18 new castaways will compete against each other when the iconic reality series premieres later this month.

The show is also available to stream on Paramount+, live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs), and as always, is hosted by Jeff Probst.

This season of Survivor will “take a deeper dive into the players’ stories as they’re stranded on the stunning islands of Fiji. Viewers will watch as castaways form a society and adapt to their physical and social surroundings while contending with treacherous new elements and navigating an ever-shifting social game. This determined group will be divided into three tribes of six and face a faster, grittier season from the moment they step on the beach. The moral dilemmas and extreme situations will test even the strongest competitor, and the mental and physical challenges require players to constantly evolve their strategies to survive another day.”

The cast includes one returnee from Season 44, who was medically evacuated just minutes into the Season 44 premiere.

In the end, only one will remain to claim the title of Sole Survivor and win the $1 million prize.

Bob Barker to Be Honored With CBS Tribute Special

CBS is honoring the late Bob Barker.

The network will air a special, The Price Is Right: A Tribute to Bob Barker, on Thursday (August 31) at 8 p.m. on CBS, which will stream on Paramount+ as well.

The show will be hosted by Drew Carey, who succeeded the late star as host of the competition show in 2007.

The long-running reality TV series returned at the beginning of August, and already, there’s been tons of drama.
