'Dancing With the Stars' Season 32 Premiere Dance Styles & Songs Revealed

Dancing With the Stars is returning for it’s 32nd season this week and the series has revealed some more info about premiere night!

The dancing competition is premiering as scheduled after being rumored to potentially delay amid the strikes. One of the celeb competitors even paused their involvement due to the WGA strike.

There will be 14 new celebrities, across the worlds of sports, TV and movies, music and more, competing for the coveted mirror ball trophy, alongside their professional dance partners.

Past winner Alfonso Ribeiro returns as co-host for his second season, and past pro and judge Julianne Hough is joining as the new co-host, with returning judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

The season will kick off on with the first live show on Tuesday (September 26) on both ABC and Disney+, with an opening number choreographed by Luam and set to Dua Lipa‘s hit song “Levitating.”

Dancing With The Stars will go on as planned, following the WGA reaching a deal.

According to Deadline and other outlets, the reality competition series is sticking to its’ original premiere date – Tuesday, September 26 on ABC.

However, fans are still wondering if Matt Walsh, who stepped back amid criticisms from picketers, will be competing.

Sharna Burgess Reveals If Jesse Metcalfe Has Reached Out to Her After

Sharna Burgess is speaking out again about Jesse Metcalfe, and this time, she’s revealing if she’s heard from him since her big revelation.

If you don’t know, the 38-year-old longtime DWTS pro dancer originally spoke out about this topic on her new iHeartRadio podcast Old-Ish, which is out now.

If you didn’t see, on the podcast, Sharna spoke about an unnamed Dancing with the Stars contestant that she found “difficult.” For some backstory, Sharna was not asked to be on season 28, but was asked back for season 29. During season 29, she was paired with Jesse. They were eliminated four weeks into the season.

Sharna never said Jesse‘s name outright during the podcast episode, but it’s pretty clear she’s referring to him with her quote.

On the podcast, Sharna said, “They had me back the following season [season 29] and I had a partner that was really difficult — and not say too much because I don’t want to — I wasn’t able to be in the room alone with him after the first couple of weeks because of things that happened. That was rocky and we were eliminated very quickly.”

Alan Bersten is speaking out in response to claims that Kaitlyn Bristowe made about their time together on Dancing With the Stars.

While Kaitlyn and Adam were not paired together, they both appeared on season 29 of the hit ABC competition series.

Kaitlyn won the mirrorball trophy with partner Artem Chigvintsev and now The Bachelorette‘s Charity Lawson is paired with him for the upcoming season.

Charity appeared on Kaitlyn‘s Off the Vine podcast and the host tried to guess who she was going to be paired with. While making those comments, she brought up Alan and her thoughts on him.

1 Star Pauses 'Dancing With The Stars' Production Amid Strikes, Show Is Considering Postponing Premiere

The pressure to postpone Dancing With the Stars amid the Hollywood strikes has forced at least one participant to hit pause.

Two-time Emmy acting nominee and Veep star Matt Walsh is delaying his participation in the hit ABC series following criticism, with the WGA picketing rehearsals in at least two locations around Los Angeles.

In a statement to Deadline, he said: “I am taking a pause from Dancing with the Stars until an agreement is made with the WGA.”
