Nicole Scherzinger Is Covered in Blood After First 'Sunset Boulevard' Performance in London

Nicole Scherzinger is starring in a Sunset Boulevard production that looks like none we’ve ever seen before!

The 45-year-old singer and actress was seen covered in blood while giving her bows during the curtain call following the first preview performance on Thursday night (September 21) at the Savoy Theatre in London, England.

Nicole is starring as Norma Desmond in a revival of the classic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. The new production is directed by Jamie Lloyd, who is known for bringing a modern new take to classic works.

During the curtain call for the first preview performance, Nicole was covered in blood while co-star Tom Francis was shirtless in just a pair of black boxer briefs.

In Sunset Boulevard, famed movie star Norma Desmond (Scherzinger) has been cast out of the Hollywood limelight. Living in a suffocating world of dreams, memories and regrets, a chance encounter with screenwriter Joe Gillis may be her only hope — unless their volatile affair destroys them both.

The production is playing a limited run on the West End through January 6, 2024.

Following the first preview performance, Nicole was seen posing for photos outside of the theatre. See more photos in the gallery!
